PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

FPSO JAMESTOWN (Nigeria) - 56/56

Responsible to the Production Superintendent for the operation, maintenance and testing of all petroleum production automation and instrumentation including all computerized systems, emergency shut down systems and fire and gas detection systems. Work in all areas throughout the FPSO unit, in particular in the Process/Engine/Boiler areas.

- Maintenance, repairs and programming of Program Logic Controllers (PLC's);
- Maintenance, repairs and programming of Ships Control Panel (SCP);
- Maintenance of all process instrumentation and computers;
- Testing and verification of all process and safety systems including fire and gas detection panels;
- Repairs and calibrations of all instrumentation and safety systems including fixed and portable gas detectors, oxygen analyzers, LEL and gas meters etc.;
- Survey and compilation of electrical and instrument drawings;
- Project design work and recommendations to management on modifications to process instrumentation;
- Maintenance and inspection of Hamworthy boiler control panel and all UPS systems;
- Assist the process crew as necessary attending all shut-down situations;

August 2003 to January 2005:
FPSO MYSTRAS (Nigeria) - 28/28

Join in Dubai with the construction phase, sail away, to Nigeria, hookup and start up. Main responsibilities are to maintain instrument related activities.
Gain valuable knowledge on the offload metering system, as well as the crude oil level measurement (Saab), and draught measurement (cargo tanks).
Ensure that planned maintenance activities are performed correctly, timely and in an efficient manner. Reporting or recording same as directed.
- Hands on experience with DCS and PLC Control Systems including programming and calibration.
- Ensure that plant and equipment is fully operational and critically maintained in accordance with procedures.
- Diagnose faults on defective equipment ensuring that all work is adequately monitored, carried out safely and is fit for purpose. Loop Checking and Testing.
- Maintain a close working relationship with the Production Supervisor.
- Be aware of roles and responsibilities with regard to emergency response.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting pneumatic and electronic instrumentation.
- Install, maintain, repair and calibrate all instrumentation fitted to process equipment.
- Repair and calibrate all fire and gas systems - Have a good knowledge of the fire and gas system.
- Implement and follow through planned maintenance routines and schedules for all instrumentation.
- Ensure that all applicable equipment adheres to intrinsically safe codes of practice.

Sept 2002 to July 2003:
FPSO BLUE WATER GLASS DOWER - 28/28

Duties involved, Loop Checking and Testing, Calibration and fault finding of all Instrumentation back to Provo Delta V DCS system and Emerson ESD, both Onshore and during Offshore hook-up commissioning phase of the project.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting pneumatic and electronic instrumentation.
- Hands on experience with DCS and PLC Control Systems including programming and calibration.
- Be aware of roles and responsibilities with regard to emergency response.
- Install, maintain, repair and calibrate all instrumentation fitted to process equipment.
- Maintain a close working relationship with the Production Supervisor.
