Jan 2001-Nov 2003Chief Engineer (International Consultant through Denver based DS Engineering) in Kogalym, Western Siberia, Russia on rotation basis. Duties included Supervision of two Uralmash 3000 drilling rigs and five workover rigs. The drilling rigs drilled 9800 ft. directional wells in 14 days. The workover units consisted of one 40t pulling unit, three 50t units and one Western Krimco capable 80t. I supervised all engineering aspects of production, drilling and workover operations, and worked closely with the geology and construction departments. The field is producing 56,000+ BOPB through ESPs and SRP. I reported directly to the First Deputy General Director.

G & A INTERNATIONAL
OCT. 1998-Jan. 2001 VICE PRESIDENT ASIAN OPERATAIONS My intended job was to reactivate and modernise four old Phillips fields in Irian Jaya, Indonesia. The fields were reviewed and evaluated for sidetrack potential, well bore optimisation and modernisation. Promised funding for this project does not appear to be coming and the project has stalled without the funds to repair transmission lines, surface facilities and perform several workovers and sidetracks to increase production.

PACIFIC PETROLEUM, LLC
JUNE 1998- AUGUST 1998 (International)--CONSULTANT in Ingushetia, Russia, we attempting to take over an old oil field and reactivate the field with modern technology. The signing of the last previously approved license agreements failed. I would have been the General Manager if all agreements had been signed. Failing to get the Exploration License signed, the project collapsed.

BENTON OIL AND GAS CO.
OCT 1997 TO JUNE 1998 (International)---GENERAL MANAGER of Benton Vinccler in Maturin, Venezuela. My responsibilities covered managing the daily oil production operations of a small oil company producing forty thousand barrels of heavy crude oil per day. We were also running one drilling rig and two workover rigs in two onshore fields. Daily activities covered problems of failing local power supply for electrical pumps, corrosion, erosion and mechanical problems associated with production from shallow unconsolidated, highly permeable sand with the use of a combination of electric submersible pumps, PC pumps and rod pumps during a period of falling oil prices. Monitoring the budget and justifying daily production variances was a daily activity. We installed plastic liner to combat corrosion in the old leaking pipelines and changed the POD to reduce capital expenditures.

DEC 1996------ Drilling Advisor for the Chinese Nat. Oil Co. (CNOOC) on the semisubmersible drilling rig (Nanhi-6) in the East China Sea.
MAY 1996----- Member of a team evaluating various integrated services groups drilling and completion practices for Lagoven in the South Monagas area of Eastern Venezuela.
MAY 1995----- Offshore Turnkey Ventures Drilling Engineer, (Lafayette, Louisiana). Responsibilities included, but were not limited to preparing APD’S, Drilling Programs, Casing Design, Casing Point Determination, selecting equipment, rig supervision and office engineering in support of daily operations on the rig. Prepared international integrated services bids for Offshore Turnkey Ventures (a Joint Venture between P.E.I. & SONAT), and domestic turnkey bids.

JAN. 1977 TO JUNE 1994 (International)
JAN. 1992 TO JUNE 1994 CHIEF PRODUCTION ENGINEER, (JAKARTA , INDONESIA) in charge of long term projects, co-ordinator between the construction, engineering and production groups. I was involved in HAZOP studies, facilities design for the new platforms, P&ID evaluation and updating policy and procedure manuals. I designed the first in field change out of SBM Swivel Seals. I was In charge of all underwater inspections of the FPSO, and facilities. I was in charge of the first ABS approved in field hull plate and structural permanent repairs.
AUG. 1988 TO JAN. 1992 (International) PLATFORM SUPERINTENDENT, in charge of KF Field in the South China Sea, with a compliment of 28 to 50 men. The platform was a self-sustained three-stage separator facility producing 42000 BOPD to a FPSO, during simultaneous drilling and production operations. I assisted during platform construction and onshore and offshore commissioning, and recruiting of new personnel. I was on sight and responsible for all platform operations, maintenance and all production activities to maximise daily oil production. We initiated the STOP safety program and I prepared personnel evaluations for nationals and expats.
AUG. 1987 TO AUG. 1988 ADVANCED DRILLING ENGINEER, in charge of drilling engineering and supervision of two development drilling rigs in West Delta Block 79 Field, Gulf of Mexico. Supervised preparation of drilling programs for offshore directional wells off of multi well platforms.
MAR. 1984 TO AUG. 1987 LEAD PRODUCTION ENGINEER for the Eastern Gulf of Mexico. I supervised eight engineers and directed their work in preparing and performing offshore small rig workovers coiled tubing work, electric line and wireline recompletions, daily production activities and gas lift work, and monitoring well performance in the Main Pass, West Delta and South Pass fields. We also prepared the field Production Budget.
APR. 1982 TO MAR. 1984 LEAD OPERATIONS ENGINEER for the Eastern Gulf of Mexico. My group organised and directed gravelpacking and conventional completions with large rig and assisted recompletions and workovers as well as remedial projects on deep high pressure wells and shallow wells with drilling rigs.
MAY 1980 TO APR. 1982 ADVANCED RESERVOIR ENGINEER for the Main Pass Block 306 Field. I was involved in reservoir evaluation, production forecasting, budget prepertion and some water flood modelling.
SEPT. 1977 TO MAY 1980 DRILLING FOREMAN, on sight supervision of various exploratory, directional development wells and workover rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. This included jackups and platform rigs.
JAN. 1977 TO SEPT. 1977 OPERATIONS ENGINEER, main responsibility was to design and then perform gravel packs and completions, for new oil and gas wells and workovers in the Gulf of Mexico.

JUNE 1975 TO JAN. 1977 (International) LEAD ENGINEER for the offshore Drilling and Workover Engineering Group. My group produced the exploratory and development drilling programs as well as the completion programs. The engineers working in my group did all of the fieldwork with the exception of the rig moves.
