Project Services and Quality Manager for Asia Petroleum Development

Manage functional areas of Budget, Cost, Quality, and Schedule for a Gas and Condensate Development Project to produce approximately 55 mmscfd of gas and 6000 bbl/day of condensate in partnership with the Indonesia state owned Oil and Gas Company (Pertamina). This is a ½ Billion US dollar gas development that consists of offshore wells, an export pipeline to shore based facility, onshore gas and condensate stabilization facility, LPG plant interface, and gas and condensate export facility. Also, secondary responsibilities for tenders and contract and purchase order preparation.

Initial work was to coordinate the preparation of drill sites for delineation drilling and exploration drilling, including coordination of schedules, budgets, execution plans, Safety, Health and Environmental plans and Risk assessments, engineering work scope, and construction contractor work scope.

Manage a variety of capital and expense projects (up to $20 Million), for ExxonMobil's Equatorial Guinea Production Facility consisting of offshore FPOs and platforms producing over 300,000 barrels of oil per day and 90 million scfd. Responsible to develop and execute projects after inception, complete project deliverables, prepare internal reviews, give presentations, hire and coordinate activities of engineering contractors, obtain ABS approvals, coordinate procurement, monitor construction and commissioning, and close out projects.

Kufpec was producing approximately 3,000 barrels of sour crude per day that also split naptha, C3, and C4 and produced 8 mmscfd of associated gas with a planned expansion of 25,000 bbls/d. Position was responsible to manage onshore gas and oil related projects such as a new gas fuel utilization project consisting of well gathering, pipeline and fuel system conversions, temporary production facility (TPS), and accommodations upgrade.

Responsible for procurement of all equipment, material, and services for upgrading a 400 mmscfd sour gas plant to 450 mmscfd in a $35Million expansion project Aceh, Indonesia including resolution of technical and commercial issues. Assisted the Project Manager to control costs, achieve schedule, produce reports to management, and prepare tenders for contracts and purchase orders.. The ExxonMobil NSO project team was a small, select, highly experienced group of personnel to manage this complex sour gas plant upgrade.

Mainly responsible to provide the facility engineering and reliability services for the ARCO offshore operations in the Java Sea. Facilities consisted of approximately 60 platforms of various types and produced over 100,000 barrels of oil per day and over 300 Million scfd of sales gas compressed by nearly 40 Solar turbines. Debottlenecked two sales gas compression platforms, performed special studies for management including a maintenance assessment of the organization, implemented a program to develop the national personnel, and improved the company's predictive maintenance program.

Assigned as Maintenance Planning Superintendent (often delegated the Maintenance Manager position) responsible for 40 personnel performing maintenance planning, predictive maintenance, inspection, and laboratory analysis of process and environmental items. Maintenance Department was responsible for high pressure, highly corrosive gas facilities processing several bcf/d and over 150,000 b/d of condensate.
