RESEARCH DETAILS
Jan 05 – Present: Graduate Research Assistant, Multi-Phase flow laboratory, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Concordia University.

* Numerically modeled a High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) process which involves chemically reactive, two-phase (gas-particle), supersonic flows with combustion and the results were validated with experiments.
* Experimental Analysis of flow of water through various bends in an open channel, and predicted the design parameters of the channel (Flow measurement using LDV).
* Numerically analyzed the effect of substrate in a supersonic, cold spray process with particles and predicted the effects of bow shock on the flow and particle trajectory.
* Modeled the effect of Substrate geometric configuration on a high temperature supersonic gas-particle flow.
* Investigation of the effect of disperse phase on gas phase in a Supersonic multi-phase flow and Particle-Shock Interaction.
* CFD modeling of FSI (Fluid Structure Interaction) in a micro jet actuator.
* Design and modeling of a curvilinear thermal spray nozzle.
