CAREER SUMMARY:
A competent and enthusiastic Junior Research Fellow with 2+ years of experience in performing hydrogeological, geological and geophysical studies, implementing river basin management and groundwater assessment projects, topographic survey and pumping test supervision in Humid tropics.
Recently deputed to Agatti Island, Lakshadweep, to conduct hydrogeological studies, geophysical investigation and topographic survey under Lakshadweep Islands Water Management Project (LIWAMP), funded by Indo Canada Environment Facility, implemented by Centre for Water Resources Development and Management, Kozhikode, Kerala, India.

Responsibilities: Collection,compilation and interpretation of hydrogeological, geological and meteorological information. Conduct hydrogeologic investigations and pumping test. Seasonal monitoring of groundwater level fluctuation and water quality, well inventory survey for different geomorphic units. Geophysical investigations to understand the geo-electrical parameters of sub-surface geology by electrical resistivity method. Preparation of hydrogeological, geological, groundwater quality and resistivity maps using Surfer.
Assessment of groundwater potential zones, usage pattern and categorization of area for future groundwater development. Preparation of a fully detailed report based on the findings of the hydrogeological, geological and geophysical investigations.
