Main Duties and Responsibilities
„« Start up, shut-down, change over and operation of all equipment and systems which include water injection facilities, separation facilities and gas treatment plants with associated equipment like dehydrators, scrubbers, booster pumps, main oil line pumps, risers, etc.
„« Monitor, record and verify all parameters of operating equipment, reporting abnormalities and take necessary corrective action under the guidance of supervisor,
„« Planned inspection of assigned plants(Gas treatment plant, Separation plant and / or the Water injection plant ) to monitor performance and ensure efficient operation according to prescribed conditions,
„« Prepare the plant for maintenance when required, accompany the instrument /mechanical / electrical technicians to explain defects / defaults ensuring safe preparation of equipment for routine planned maintenance, and tests such repaired equipment to ensure smooth efficient operation,
„« Maintain adequate stock of chemicals and other items, endorse loading and delivery notes and maintain adequate house keeping according to safety regulations,
„« Collect samples, carry out simple laboratory tests to confirm the quality of oil, water and gas and help to evaluate plant performance,
„« Mix chemicals to appropriate ratios and prepare doses for injection into process streams,
