Assistant to Professor Martin Sinha in Marine Electromagnetics and the newly formed company Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping (OHM).

Responsibilities:

* Organising marine electromagnetics research equipment for subsequent Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping cruises.
* Had a major role preparing and deploying marine electromagnetic receivers during tests on Southampton Water.
* Organising references and assisting in the writing of cruise reports and equipment reports.

June 2000 – Sept 2001 Customer Service Officer
Royal Bank of Scotland Plc., Manchester

Working in a Team – Both my previous jobs have taught me the value of working in a team and the results it can achieve. Several geophysics field courses have also involved extensive teamwork.

Travel – I am keen to experience what other parts of the world have to offer, having already seen several cities worldwide. I recently returned from a two-month trip to the east coast of the United States.

Sport – To relax and socialise, I love to watch and play sport. Being a member of the Manchester United Supporters Club enables regular visits to Old Trafford. During my time at university, I played 5-a-side football for the physics society, badminton for my halls of residence and cricket for the SOC staff.
