* Consultation provided for petrophysical interpretation, with emphasis on integrated field studies. Major projects include:
* Jaguar Exploration - Fourteen-month project in Mexico. Provided consultation to Pemex as a Petrophysical Advisor for the Southern Region, Villahermosa, Mexico. Duties included development of valid petrophysical parameters and procedures specifically in support of the exploration effort. Training of Pemex staff, using Paradigm's GEOLOG software as the primary tool. Guidelines for recognition of Tertiary pay sands were developed and proven through discovery of new oil and gas reserves. Methodology for fracture delineation within the Mesozoic carbonates was provided through sound application of secondary porosity principles.

* CGG - six-month project in Bahrain, Middle East. Performed probabilistic petrophysical interpretation using GEOLOG Multimin software for 360+ wells in the Awali oil field. This petrophysical field study provided lithologic and reservoir properties for eleven carbonate and clastic reservoirs, which were subsequently used as input for geostatistical modeling.

1996 - 1999 Marathon Research Center Littleton, Colorado
* Senior Petrophysicist
* Corporate software support for GEOLOG petrophysical application, Marathon, worldwide.
* Maintained and expanded log data archiving system.
* Performed numerous petrophysical field study interpretations for client offices.
* Handled multiple well processing with GEOLOG for major fields. Maintained Yates Field log database with over 2000 wells.
* Specialized in statistical log interpretation techniques using Multimin, similar to ELAN.
* Key team member for integrated field studies. Used petrophysics as a bridge between geology, geophysics and engineering.
* Provided methods for unloading log interpretation results in a format used by other applications, such as Stratamodel or SAS.
* Modified GEOLOG for local needs, using TCL/TK programming.
* Developed UNIX system administration skills, particularly as related to GEOLOG requirements. Able to install GEOLOG software on most platforms, either local or remote.
* Understand corporate computer networks enough to take advantage of powerful data transfer techniques.
* Basic programming skills in C Shell, TCL/TK, PERL, SAS, AWK and GEOLOG's own LOGLAN language.

1995 - 1996 Marathon Oil UK Aberdeen, Scotland
* Lead petrophysicist for Marathon Oil, UK.
* Log data acquisition responsibilities for complex black oil and condensate North Sea reservoirs.
* Emphasized Multimin log interpretation for specialized projects and deterministic methods for routine field studies.
* Established GEOLOG version 6 as the main petrophysical software.

1992 - 1995 Marathon Oil Company Cody, Wyoming
* Log data acquisition responsibilities for complex fractured carbonate reservoirs.
* Integrated capillary pressure data with log interpretation to provide new methods for delineating bypassed oil.
* Modeled horizontal wells and offered key steering assistance while drilling by closely monitoring MWD logs.

1987 - 1992 Marathon Research Center Littleton, Colorado
* Performed multi-well petrophysical field studies for numerous client offices.
* Project time charged back to client offices with deliverables typically including database cleanup, normalization, documentation of interpretation and presentation of results.

1982 - 1987 Marathon Oil UK London, England
* Lead petrophysicist for commercial group, overseeing Marathon's North Sea interests.
