Determination of Index Properties of Marble From Different Localities of
N-W.F.P
In this project, I took marble from different localities of Mohmand Agency i.e. Shewai, Nawagai and Ulai. I took geology of the area and I did different tests on these samples including Uni-Axial compressive Strength Test, Uni-Axial Tensile Strength Test, Shear Strength Test, Slake Durability Test, Hardness, Specific Gravity and Water Absorption Test. The results showed that the marble from different localities have different index properties. This is because of the fact that during their formation they are subjected to unequal temperature and pressure as they were gradually transformed from sediment into rock. Other factors that do make difference in their index properties are grain size, thickness of bedding, cementing material and other geological factors.

To compare the waste with NEQS.
To analyze the generated waste of various descriptions, I perform following tests. Total Suspended Solids, Total Dissolved Solids, Biochemical Oxygen Demand, Nitrates, Sulphates, Chloride, Moisture in Solid Waste, Organic Matter and Inorganic Matter.
