PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN
* Project on Hospital Waste Management (Sir Ganga Ram Hospital) -A case study under Prof.B.J. Alappat & Prof A.K. Nema.
This deals with the Quantitative Analysis of the solid waste generated in the hospital, and to study the methods of segregation and disposal techniques of the waste according to the latest 1998 Bio Medical Rule book and one of the most important aspect was to provide consultancy help to the hospital for better waste management. As an outcome, now it is only hospital in the city, which is getting money out of the waste.
The project was challenging because of the nature of the work and also not much work has been done in this field in India in such a multi facilitated metro hospital. Results which has been achieved is very useful for Indian scenario for further studies and developing new techniques. Therefore it has been recommended by Professors to publish a paper and very soon it will be published in an International journal.

* Project on Monitoring and Analysing water Quality of Drinking water in IIT.
This project deals with the monitoring the quality of the drinking water by checking limits for given set of parameters (turbidity, hardness, residual chlorine, Heavy Metals etc.) for 4 months and to deduce the results from that and rate the quality of water

Organization: UP State Bridge Construction Corp. Ltd. (Dhaula Kuan)
Projects taken at Training:

* Quality Control of the Raw material used in the construction at the Grade Separator Dhaula Kuan by testing parameters (Quality Control Batching, Sieve Analysis, Cube Test. Etc.) and Material Requirement Planning (MRP).

* Studied the latest Techniques in bridge construction.

AWARDS AND RESPONSIBILITIES HELD

* Headed the National Service Scheme-IITD (an organization at national level) as capacity of General Secretary for the academic year 2002 -2003
Worked with different NGOs like (NAB, Katha, Rotary Club, Lions Club Habitat Learning Centre, NFI Asha, etc.) In NAB (National Association for blinds) we helped them in converting the literature into Brail; we developed different models for blinds like maps and exhibited them in Mumbai and in IIT Delhi in National Youth week festival. We have worked with Organization like NFI Asha summer internship program to educate, and awareness among the masses in remote areas. All the above projects students took it as projects.

* Organized National Youth Week (Feb.2002) 3 days, organized inter college Debate Competition with LIONS Club.

* 'Secretary' of the Blood Donation Committee of the National Service Scheme Unit, IIT D, for the academic year July 2001 - May 2002, and achieved the highest number of the blood donations in one day (227) in the history of IIT and Got appreciation certificate from Rotary Club International.

* Awarded "pride of hostel" 2003.

* Certificated in Intermediate National Math's Olympiad in year (1998)

* Got the State Governor Award of Bharat Scouts (1997) from the Governor.
