1) Presently working in Reliance Industries Limited, Refinery Division, Jamnagar as Manager-Project Contract & Buyer (Electrical & Instrumentation).

Looking after Contract & Procurement of all Electrical, instrumentation & Automation items for expansion project and maintenance.( up to 40 crores pa)
Quality material at optimum cost, Establishing, Modification & Following of procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Negotiate pricing for Purchase Volume
* Review and action MRP reports to purchase, expedite, and de-expedite raw material.
* Purchasing of material according to approved drawings.
* Follow market trends and exert influence accordingly.
* International negotiation as per INCO Terms 2000
* Interface with PI procurement network.
* Engineering change notice implementation.
* Review of safety stock levels, setting minimum and maximum order points.
* Process non-conforming material to ensure acceptable inventory is on hand.
* Cycle count analysis to resolve discrepancies and improve on-hand accuracy.
* Taking advantage of price breaks by reviewing lot sized and annual consumption. Utilizing total cost of ownership principles.
* Monitor contractual agreements, initiate appropriate measures to secure supply.
* Establishing inventory levels to maximize turns.
* Review obsolete/slow moving material.
* Logistic performance reviews with vendors.
* Jonas liaison with vendor.
* Reporting and analysis of procurement figures.
* Dealing with the vendor and Engineers to incorporate needs and facilitate changes in scope and requirements.

2) ISPAT INDUSTRIES LIMITED: April 2000 to Nov-2004.
Worked in IIL as Dy. Manager (Electrical & Automation) in 3 MTPA Hot Strip Mill project worth 7000 Crores supplied by SMS DEMAG - Germany and SIEMENS AG - Germany.
Finalization of functional specification, drawing approval, Vendor approval & Material Inspection and Certification.
Software Development, MMI Package Development and functional simulation checking. PROJECTS Group leader of team of engineer for Erection and Commissioning of Thin Slab Caster & Tunnel Furnace electrical and automation systems consisting of Siemens S7-400 PLCs, Master Drives, Systems, A.C. Motors, variable voltage drives and Field Instruments..
Worked as a Team leader for Erection & commissioning of Tunnel Furnace.

Tunnel Furnace is designed by M/s Bricmont USA and major equipment are Siemens S7-400 PLC, Siemens VC AC Drives, Wonderware HMI, Level-2 Servers, and Field Instruments

3) Project Engineer, HEG Ltd, Durg (C.G.), May-1995 to Mar-2000 Self was involved with project activities of 12.8 MW Captive Power plant and Sponge Iron Plant. Responsible for Erection and Commissioning of various Drives, field instruments such as Flow transmitters, Temperature transmitter, Level transmitter, Pressure transmitter, Analyzer, Pressure switch, Level gauge, Limit switches, Proximity switches, Photocells and Control panel boards and PLCs. Carried out loop checking.

Costs control, Works preparation and schedule. Execution and planning of quality and safety control. Experience in co-coordinating and executing proposals and tenders of instrumentation, automation and electricity.
Experience in the E&I maintenance area. Handling of machines, tools, equipment of medium voltage and equipment of calibration.
Experience in commissioning and start up activities for electrical, instrumentation and automation systems.
