Field drilling operations: Excelled in supervisory positions, (driller/senior driller/ tool pusher/offshore installation manager/jack up rig manager) involved in exploratory drilling and new innovative drilling projects in offshore like ERD wells, ERD horizontal wells, side tracks, platform slot recovery for new well drilling, jack up based sub sea well drilling, various types of work-over, shallow & deep water exploration and rig management.
As Institute based drilling Engineer, served as offshore core group member; planned, designed, supervised and provided technical back up for HPHT exploratory/development drilling in Indian basin. Devised and implemented shallow gas well control plan and programme for offshore exploration and platform based drilling. Carried studies on jack up rig requirement for ERD well drilling. Supervised combination of Rotary steering system & Low toxic oil base mud system for drilling 1-1/2 kilometer long-high angle ERD sections in shale formations. Working on implementation of new under balance drilling technology, in offshore field, for drilling horizontal sections and improving productivity levels from reservoir.

Drilling operation management of 10+ jack up rigs involved in development/side track drilling and work over operations. As advisor, instrumental in inducting new technology's like medium radius, short radius, and ultra short radius drilling for reservoir exploitation and expandable casings, permanent/retrievable type whip-stocks in 7" / 9-5/8" casings for dual, multilateral horizontal drilling. As manager Drilling projects, received appreciation for successful implementation of Rotary steering system & Low toxic oil base mud system using 5-1/2" size drill string for drilling 1-1/2 kilometer long-high angle ERD sections in shale formation. Working in collaboration with mud engineers for control of severe loss situation using unconventional methods. Working as project coordinator to induct new under balance drilling technology, in offshore, for reservoir exploitation.
