* Risk Management / HSE Case Auditing o Revised the traditional hazard models to consider environmental and heath issues

* Permit to Work (PTW) System Maintenance and Audit (see below)

* Worksite Hazard Information Management System.
Designed and developed a Worksite Hazard Information Management System (WHIMS) using hazard information previously contained within the Company's Safety Cases. A model was established to determine the criticality of vendor and supplier contracts by risk to define the format, content and detail of hazard information.

* HSE Critical Competence Development
Achieved endorsement to link HSE Competence to Safety Critical Activities (as defined in the Safety Case).
Demonstrated the influencing factors that determine HSE Competence are far more diverse than more traditional approaches have proposed.

* Function also required day-to-day operations support towards implementing the HSE-MS

2.2 Senior HSE Adviser (Corporate HSE Group): July 1994 – January 1997

* SMS / Safety Case Development and Implementation
Developed an innovative approach for the development and implementation of Company's SMS / Safety Cases. Approach well received by SIEP and resulted in an associated paper being published

* Permit to Work (PTW) System: Design and Implementation
Co-ordinated the development and implementation of the new Permit to Work (PTW) system (PTW System was one of the first risk-based systems to be introduced within SIEP)

* Human Factors (Tripod-Delta)
Corporate focal point for Tripod-Delta. Co-ordinated the application within the geophysical exploration group; developed a framework for the creation of a exploration specific database; established a framework for linking the database results to core business processes

(3) Halliburton (Geophysical PSL): July 1993 - February 1994

3.1 World-wide HSE Co-ordinator:

During relatively short time in position helped to progress consistent HSE standards and performance across all operating areas, especially in incident management. Developed and implemented an HSE training passport in conjunction with International Association of Geophysical Contractors (IAGC).

Design, Development and Implementation of HSE Cases - April 1997. A paper published internally within SIEP to provide OU's with practical direction for the rationalization of HSE Cases.
