SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE:
Mechanical Design Engineering- Performed a variety of fieldwork which required assessing vendor data for verification of project designs. Fluent in computerized 3D modeling for piping and equipment systems etc., layout piping to pressure vessels, pumps, and skid mounted equipment. Design piping and new equipment installations to fit for quick turnaround in new or existing facilities. Create and generate detail drawings of pipe, equipment etc needed per project. I had to interact with fabrication shops to help correct and approve construction drawings.
While at Aveva Inc. (and other companies there after) I performed numerous installations of Aveva software. This work required set-ups of the software and systems and creating any Piping components or specifications needed for the projects. I conducted extensive training of domestic and international personnel in the use of the software per discipline.
Software usage: PDMS (14yrs.), PDS (5yrs.), Micro Station (3yrs), and AutoCAD (1yr.). Experience also includes upgrading hardware are and configuring computer systems.
International assignments: Mexico, Canada, Saudi Arabia and Colombia.

First, prepared piping arrangements, details, and isometrics and support drawings of petrochemical systems for offshore platforms. Second and third, estimated weights of material for calculating center of gravity on platforms, cost of material and man-hours required for assembly. This information was then transferred to an IBM computer for total weight and cost.
