In charge of four Divisions of the company comprising of 140 personnel engaged in Business Support activities to Brunei Shell Petroleum Sdn. Bhd (BSP).
Division 1 - Procurement and Inventory (53 Staff)
Responsible for procurement of over US$200m of equipment per annum in support of surface facilities and engineering projects including general supply requirement for BSP. Responsible for Inventory analysis and control for Inventory value US$15m. Re-organised the company structure and was advisor for optimal regional procurement and inventory strategies in support of Shell Regional Asia group.
Division 2 - Contracting and Commercial Support (34 Staff)
Tendering and Contract preparation for contract work exceeding US$300m per annum. Strategic and Commercial advice to project managers and contract holders
Division 3 - Financial Support Services (37 Staff)
Financial reporting, invoicing and financial business and budgetary planning activities for support service activities to Brunei Shell.
Division 4 -Cost Analysis and Benchmarking/ Quantity Surveying (12 Staff)

The company acts as project manager/consultant and procurement agent for various clients in the region undertaking contracts systems in support of donor organisations NGO's and the private sector.

* British Government (DfID) Personnel & Control Information Systems Project (PCIS), Tanzania - Project Manager (Commercial)
This is a DfID funded 2.5 million pounds Sterling project on behalf Government of Tanzania to computerise and upgrade the government Payroll and Human Resources System which involved the details, information and data for over 300,000 employees.
This is considered to be one of the largest systems of its kind in the world and to be installed and implemented in a country where only 2% of the employees concerned had a bank account.
* British Government (DfID) Emergency Assistance to Co-operative Bank after Terrorist Bomb Blast on 7 August 1998 - Project Manager
The Co-operative Bank was very badly damaged by the bomb blast on 7 August 1998 and it was estimated that 50% of the total Information Technology equipment used by the bank was damaged or lost.
The project was for the emergency replacement of 1million pounds Sterling of IT equipment to be installed in five alternative sites in Nairobi.
* British Government (DfID) Family Planning and Health Support Programme
Supply of medical equipment and supplies, vehicles and office equipment for regional clinics and medical centres on behalf of Marie Stopes, Kenya.
Supply of vehicles and office equipment to Kenya Catholic Secretariat (KCS), Christian Children's Fund (CCF), Kenya Freedom from Hunger (KFH), Family Planning Association of Kenya (FPAK), National Council of Churches (NCCK) and Air Medical Rescue Foundation (AMREF).

A British Government appointed consultant and project manager.
Responsible the procurement services and consultancy for numerous private and Government clients including British Government, donors and other commercial organisations.
1993 – 1996 Executive Director, Regent Asia (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd
Incorporated and set up the office in Kuala Lumpur and was responsible for management of all consultancies, technical assistance projects and purchasing, supply and logistics project work.
* 1993 – 1996 Malaysian Education Private Sector Development
Identification and development of technology transfer/upgrade programmes, joint venture programmes and course validation between British Universities and Malaysian Government and Private Institutions for accounting, engineering and computing.
Also carried out and advised British Universities the evaluation of local qualifications, syllabus and selection of over 5,000 Malaysian Government scholarship holders and privately funded students applying to study Bachelor Degrees and Masters Degrees at various British Universities.
* 1992-1993 British Government (DfID) Indonesian Forestry Conservation Project Kalimantan, and Java – Project Manager
Identification, procurement and supply of scientific equipment, vehicles, IT software solutions and hardware for forestry mapping and administration, generators, supplies for construction in the rainforest, solar panels and other equipment.
Equipment was supplied to Pontianak, Western Kalimantan; Sampit, Southern Kalimantan and Bogor, Java.
Project value for procurement in Phase I was 800,000 pounds Sterling approx.
1990 – 1993 Executive Director Regent Asia (Thailand) Ltd
Incorporated and set up the office and was responsible for management of all supply chain management, technical assistance and consultancy for donors and the private sector. Project included:
* 1991-1992 - Warehousing & Material Handling, South East Asia
Co-ordinated a joint venture between Lohaprateep Industry Co.Ltd (LPI)
and Murata Engineering co., Osaka, Japan assisted by Nomura Trading (Machinery) Co. Ltd.
Pioneered the introduction of information technology and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) for logistics and material handling industrial sector in Thailand. Undertook training in Osaka, Japan.
Installations included Muramoto warehouse in Bangplee, Thailand and Hitachi warehouse system and many projects initiated since completed and operational.
* 1990 – 1991 – Development of the Footwear Manufacturing Industry, Thailand
Set up, co-ordinated and supervised the local office for Dunlop sports shoes in Thailand. Responsible for marketing and information systems for in-country and development of production from 11 factories in Thailand.
