post graduate from R.E.C., Warangal, Andhra Pradesh in 'Electronic Instrumentation'. I passed out in 1994 with 73% and working with M/s Tecnimont ICB Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai as 'Principal Engineer-Instrumentation' for last nine years.
My Nature of work in brief M/s Tecnimont ICB is a multi-national engineering consulting organization, Collaborated with M/s Tecnimont S.p.A (Montedison group), Milan, Italy who offer their Basic Engineering, Design, Detailed Engineering and Procurement activities for turn-key jobs in the field of Oil & gas, Petrochemical and fertilizer projects.My nature of work involves - Design- Detailed Engineering and - Procurement activities.
Present Assignment Currently I am deputed at Basell Polyolefins GmbH, Wesseling Germany for Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and pre-commissioning activites of HDPE project. We have provided design, detailed engineering and procurement activities from Tecnimont S.p.A, Milan, Italy for the same project.
Experience 2003 onwards M/s Tecnimont ICB Pvt. Ltd Mumbai, IndiaPrincipal Engineer My Responsibilities:* Responsible for complete engineering activities of all Packages of HDPE, Germany project. Major activities involves- Evaluation of vendor offers for various package items- Attending technical clarification meetings with vendors- Attending project review meetings- Co-ordinating with other engineering departments- Checking all engineering documents- Visiting vendor works- Etc.. - Attending ESD/DCS FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) at ABB works in Milan for HDPE, Germany project. Major activities involves- Complete hardware checking- Graphic display checking- Developing MMI - Interlock checking- Checking the communication test with various package PLCs like Siemens S7-400 series and HIMA H51q series etc… - Marshalling checking etc..Description about the system: For this project we are using ABB's 'Symphony' system with CMC70 controller and remote (S800 series) I/O cards. We used Profibus DP communication between I/O cards and CMC 70 controller. These I/O cards are connected to one 'Fieldbus Communication Interface' (FCI), CI 830 and through 'Redundant link module' (RLM01), it makes a redundant communication with the CPU, i.e. CMC70 controller. It is to be noted that I am very friendly with ABB's Symphony functional diagram software as well as graphic display software. Myself performed all necessary modification during the 'Factory acceptance test'.Knowledge about Yokogawa Centum CS 3000:I worked on this system for Amir Kabir Petrochecmicals, Iran project. The system is CENTUM CS 3000 with Windows NT operating system. In this project we have used standard I/O system with "AAI" and "ADI" type cards. These I/Os are connected to Controller (FCS), AFS20D(redundant controller) as a node. The communication between FIO and FCS is through ESB bus and among the controllers, it is through V-net.On the upper level of the controller we have HIS(Human machine interface system) and Engineering station which are also connected to FCS via V-net. I suppose the speed of the V-net is around 10mbs.Knowledge about Honeywell TDS 3000:Honestly I worked for this system vey long back and didn,t remembered much about network structure of HPM(High performance module-controller). We used this system for PP, Greece..PLC's I worked for:- Siemens S7 Series (General purpose) - HIMA (For Emergency Shut Down system, type H51q)
