- P&ID Review during basic and detail engineering
- Preparation of complete Instrument database, Instrument data sheets with sizing calculation for Control Valves, Flow Elements, and Safety Relief Valves etc using INTOOLS 5.2, 5.3 & 6.0.
- Technical bid evaluation of critical instruments e.g., DCS/PLC system, Control Valves, Safety valves, flow elements etc.
- Preparation of Level Sketches, Instrument JB Layout, Instrument field Cable routing using INTOOLS, MCT layout.
- Preparation of Control Room Equipment Layout showing cable routing, earthing and panel base frame details.
- Interface with Electrical group for preparation of MCC control schemes.
- Preparation of DCS/PLC IO List and Point Data Base.
- Preparation of Functional Schematic Diagrams.
- Preparation of Emergency Shutdown logics, Compressor operation logics, Sequential Logics for Catalyst Bed Regeneration and Burner Management System.

From September 1997 till date working in the Control System & Instrumentation group in TECHNIP, a well-known multinational executing turnkey projects in petrochemical industries & refineries also reputed licensor for Hydrogen, Sulphur Recovery process technologies.
HIGHLIGHTS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Design & Detail Engineering of Hydrogen Reformer at Madras Refineries Ltd.
- Design, Detail engineering, Co-ordination with Client, Consultant, DCS vendor & Other LSTK Contractors, Installation Supervision & Commissioning including programming of a 4,500 I/O point DCS (TDC 3000 & FSC 101R) for Diesel Hydro Desulphurisation Project comprising of DHDS unit, Hydrogen unit, Sulphur Recovery unit, Utility block (DM plant, N2 plant etc.) & Offsite at HPCL, Mumbai Refinery.
- Design, Detail engineering, Co-ordination with Client, Consultant, DCS vendor & Other LSTK Contractors, installation supervision, commissioning including programming, as Lead Control & Automation Engineer of a 8000 I/O points DCS/PLC system (TDC 3000 & TRICONEX) for Diesel Hydrotreater Project comprising of HDT unit, Hydrogen unit, Sulphur Recovery unit & INDMAX at IOCL, Guwahati Refinery.
- Pre-commissioning & Commissioning of Hydrotreater and Hydrogen Plant at IOCL-Guwahati as In charge of Instrumentation.
- Preparation of Basic Engineering Package for Hydrogen Plant including Detail Engineering of Reformer at IOCL, Haldia.
- Preparation of extended basic package for Naphtha Hydrotreater, CCR & Benfree units with Axens for Tupras, Kirikkale refinery.
- Commissioning of DCS/PLC (Emerson Delta V and ICS Triplex) and GE Mark VI PLC for a Gas Compression Plant at Saudi Aramco, ABQAIQ, Saudi Arabia.
- Presently working as lead Instrumentation engineer for H2 plant in France for Total Fina.
