Principal Responsibility and Accountabilities:
Working in DCS Central Control Room & performaing safe, efficient and effective monitoring,operation and assigned maintenance of all the equipments in the outside areas of installation, Delivery of
On-specification hydrocarbon exports to third party pipelines, the safe production of hydrocarbon in accordance with company business needs, production plan and targets, compile and maintain records. Work management, performance improvement and competence assessment.
Key Technical Activities and Tasks:-
Safety management: Understand and comply with the the company's permit to work system and safe working practices, ensure that all process and related equipment available for operational use, complies with the company ''fit for purpose'' criteria.
Emergency Response: Understand the company emergency response procedures and their applications, perform an emergency response role as defined in the company procedures.
Isolation/De-isolation:- Assist other operations Team and operations support team as necessary in isolating/De-isolating equipment in accordance with the safety case and company procedures.
Wells testing for reservoir monitoring. Operation of satellite stations
Process and Production operation, Supervision and Control:--
Understand and ensure the safe, efficient and effective operation of the process and safety system and equipments to avoid unnecessary shutdowns and meet or exceed availability and production targets, including hydrocarbon production and export, utilities,PSD,ESD/F&G, emergency and life support systems, ensure metering of the oil systems and exports is excuted in accordance with the company's procedures, communicate to third party pipeline as necessary, any changes or fault in the production/process operating conditions, adjust production rates as necessary, issue,control and administer the installations permit to work and related documentation systems ensuring accurate and timely availability of such documentations.
Process and Production Shutdown and Start-Up:-
monitor and oversee planned and unplanned shutdowns and associated start-up via the central control panel ensuring plant and men safety at all times, ensure production loss due to planned or unplanned shutdowns is minimised.

1 Routine checks of all equipment and units to ensure that they are functioning correctly.
2 Reporting defects of all equipment and units to senior and raising defect cards to concerns departments for maintenance
3 Starting and stopping main pumps,boosters,compressors as per the procedures.
4 Isolating,draining,venting & purging of vessels/ equipments for maintenance jobs.
5 Loading and unloading chemicals and adjusting the required dosing rates.
6 Collecting samples of oil for API,gravity,BS&W, H2S, water and gas.
7 Maintaining good quality of crude oil free from salt & H2s gas.
8 Make preparation for launching pigs into flow lines, receiving pig,and checking pig.
9 Operation of ESD system, SCADA & Hit system.
10 Adjustment of flow controller, pressure and temperature controllers.
11 Operation of raw water wells,disposel wells and effluent water treatment plants.
12 Operation of furnace,heat exchangers, and flaring system, glycol dehydration unit & condenser.
13 Initiating the alarms of Alert,Evacuate & H2s alarms in case of emergency.
14 Wells functional test for low & high pressures.
15 Calculations of daily,weekly & monthly production reports (oil,gas,water,condensate).
16 Oil shipment,storage and movements & testing of oil wells.
17 Working in a Dcs system control room.
18 Preparation of all reports with computer in microsoft excel/word programmes.
19 Commissioning of 30,000 BOPD of plant in occidental of pakistan inc..
Commissioning of 350,000 BOPD of plant in ADCO abu-dhabi
20 Reports of all near misses & giving safety suggestions.
21 Preparation of all reports in production,injection,export management system (PIES).
22 Good speaking & writing of english language.
23 Understand PFDs & P&ID.
24 Operation of three phase separator & De-salter
25 Operation of stabilizer, stripper.
