Business administrator graduated from Universidad Militar Nueva Granda, post graduated in Insurance in the Universidad Externado de Colombia, also has participated in many courses and seminars of the Risk Insurance Society – RIMS. In 1998 was certificated in the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters AICPCU.
Worked in risk and insurance since 1986. His first job was in Royal and Sun Alliance. later, in 1989 was hired by Colcordes S.A., Insurance Broker up to 1992. At that moment he accepted a new job as Technical Manager for Guianza S,A, insurance Brokers. In 2000 established SesColombia, a risk and insurance advisory services institution up to day, which is been contracted to qualify insurance biddings and design Insurance programs according to the real risk level in banks, industrial facilities, and public agencies. He has many remarkable works such as BBB audit and bidding process in Banco de la República ( Centrla Bank of Colombia) risk conferences and advine for Banco central de Ecuador, Gilat S.A. - Programa Compartel, Risk Survey in Consejo Superior de la Judicatura, Basel II advisory in Almagrario S.A., Insurance program design in CAFAM, EAAB, Banco del Estado, Granbanco-Bancafé, Fiduagraria S.A., Universidad Javeriana, Teleset S.A., Interaseo S.A., Atesa S.A., Termotécnica Coindustrial S.A., Consorcio PAR - Telecom, Leasing de Occidente S.A., Finamérica S.A., Banco del Austro y Produbanco in Ecuador. Recently was invited as lecturer about designing and developing the operative risk system under the Basel lI framework, including the stochastic models for calculating purposes.
