- Project value exceeded $150 million USD. Managed project team from concept study to first hardware order.
5/00 – 5/01 Project Manager –FMC Dunfermline Scotland
- Project Manager of International Project team for Phase II of the Petro Canada Terra Nova project.
- Lead transition team responsible for transfer of all project and technology lessons learned from FMC Houston to FMC Scotland for the second phase of Terra Nova project ($27 million USD). The transition to Scotland included development of a new project team organization, training of project personnel, establishing status reporting requirements and contract manufacturing commercial controls through FMC Puerto Rico.
- Included in this work scope was the development of a technology transfer to the FMC Service Base in Newfoundland intended to train local personnel in the assembly of subsea trees. This work was managed from Scotland while also remotely managing the completion of the Phase 1 Terra Nova project that continued to be based in Houston, TX.
1/99 – 5/00 Project Manager –FMC Houston
- Project Manager for Phase I of the Petro Canada Terra Nova project that included the supply of Subsea trees, Subsea control modules, installation work-over control system and the landing string hardware.
- Responsible for all aspects of budget/schedule and delivery of Subsea Trees, Landing String and IWOCS contract.
- Contract value was $45 million USD.
- Unique project characteristics included design / procurement / manufacturing / component testing (FAT) performed in Houston with System Integration Testing (SIT) performed at St. John, Newfoundland Canada shore base with an international service team. The Grand Banks Alliance was the first contractors Alliance Contract at FMC.
