Seconded to London (1985) for the operation department on the design and construction Phase of the Brae B platform also involved in the Haz Op studies. On float out of the modules engaged in the acceptance and commissioning of equipment, power gen, gas compression, fire systems and all utility systems. When the platform became live I returned to the maintenance department engaged in all topsides maintenance activities.
Promoted to Maintenance Systems Co Coordinator (1991) and transferred to the Brae A platform to supervise the planning of unit/system/platform shutdowns and third party tie in`s, commissioning for the Brae Field and the optimisation of multi discipline work force with the aid of computer planning systems.
