In my internship, I was assigned the geological mapping of about 650 square Km area designated as Khushalgarh concession under the close supervision of Pakistan Oil Fields Limited. The rocks from Eocene to Recent of marine to continental environment of deposition were studied
Three sections namely Chorgali Pass, Basal Attock and Tarkhobi outside the mapped area were studied. The data was compiled for locating the possible structural trap of hydrocarbons.
