Laboratory Technical Supervisor

As part of the Complex structure, a Quality Control Laboratory was designed and set up for the analysis of sub-products (inner streams of the process), finished product (Commercial Crude) and the environmental control of effluents, serviced and potable waters in the Jose Up grader.

Within the structure, a quality system was simultaneously implemented based on the guidelines of ISO 17025 applied to the management of Certified Laboratories.

Additionally, the program compliance to laboratory analysis was addressed and supervised through personnel resource planning, thus securing the compliance of procedures and methods for defined laboratory tests, detecting in a pertinent manner any deviation, optimizing opportunities and generating reliable results for the control of the Upgrader's processes, as well as for the certification of the produced commercial crude. Likewise, new sample station points in the different phases of the Process Units were included and implemented, as well as the identification of significant points for the execution of mass balances and the approval for the different Process Units tests.
