Tasked with Completing these wells "Rigless" to evaluate the economic and operational viability of doing the above noted operations without the use of a service rig.

(03/2005 - 04/2005)

McGinnis, Codd & Associates (MCA) provided engineering services to both domestic (Canadian) and International operators.

Contracted by MCA to work in Algier, Algeria in the capacity of Drilling Manager for Petro Vietnam during their onshore drilling campaign. Although the title of the position was Drilling Manager, overall responsibility included management of logistics and procurement, geology, engineering and operations.

Tasks included;
* Coordination of the aforementioned departments
* Presentations to management and their partners, Sonatrach
* Bidding, Analysis and Evaluation of services.
* Day to day management of rig operations to ensure that the program approved by management and partners was followed.
* Field operations troubleshooting.

Petro Vietnam successfully drilled and completed their minimum required wells (as per contract) during their first venture in to Algeria.

Contracted by Husky Oil to assist with the implementation and integration of a "Well Life Cycle" data capture and reporting software system.

Duties included;
* Auditing of data and application based on industry knowledge

* Auditing of communications/database troubleshooting documentation.

Moved to Talara, Peru to undertake duties as Operations Manager.

* Building a team of production-oriented personnel to operate and optimize production from rod pumping and swab produced wells.
* Working in conjunction with a staff of 14 national engineers to develop reactivation, drilling and completion programs with a view to reducing costs and implementing engineering controls.

* Administering and organizing an 80 well reactivation program, 25 well drilling program and production facilities expansion for 1997.
* Supervising the development of technical requests for materials and supplies.
* Supervise the development of AFE's for drilling and completions projects.
* Developing a timeline for the importation of all required services and supplies.

Responsibilities included:
* Liaison with Government and Regulatory authorities.
* Preparing and administering of budget.
* Initiating the development and use of a computerized accounting system to better manage the business of the company.

* Reducing operating expenses through staff rationalization and improved production controls. Initiatives reduced expenses by 30% within 4 months.
* Coordinating contingency plans, operating procedures, evacuation and health plans for National and Expatriate personnel during the torrential rain and flooding caused by the El Nino in late 1997 and early 1998.
oAt the height of the rains, with 90% of the wells inundated, production was maintained at 50% of the pre-rain production. No equipment or infrastructure in the field was lost.
oNo loss of life and no staff or their families suffered from the diseases prevalent during the crisis.
oBasic food, water, transportation and medical supplies were provided to a village of approximately 650 people situated within the operating area.

Supervised completions and workover operations on a rig in the Peoples Democratic Republic of Yemen for CanOxy.
* Responsible for rig, rig personnel, camp, camp labor and support personnel assigned to the camp.

* Supervising the safe and timely execution of well completions and workovers.
* Assisting and problem solving of technical concerns during the planning of completions and workover projects.
* Training and monitoring of Yemeni Nationals in completion and workover operations.

* Responsible for the care and control of a 50 man camp, all labor and support personnel including rig and support facilities.

* Supervising the drilling of large diameter surface holes and water wells utilizing hammer bits, stable foam and air.
* Conducting high rate flow tests utilizing Electric Submersible Pumps with complex downhole assemblies for accurate reservoir evaluation.
