The IR Technology remote was used and the circuit included basic elements such as Relay and Transformer to step up the voltage. The heating element was connected to the electric source and IR action initiated the current for heating up the element which fired up the bomb (cracker) connected and hence a demonstration of the use of application was done.

The project objective was to estimate the factors upon which the objective function, the outlet temperature of the preheat train arrangement of Crude Distillation Unit depended on. Then the series of calculation leading to the development of a mathematical model to optimize the objective function was made and an online tool was made so as to incorporate the mathematical algorithm thus designed which could be incorporated in DCS Systems of Honeywell in IOC Refineries.

Team Member of DRYA Module of MANTHA- Honeywell's project in Indian Oil Refineries for Data Reconciliation and Analysis for Material Balance of the refinery and its units. Association with HAIL as well as IOC process engineers to create an interphase between software engineers dealing with programming part of HAIL as well as Process Engineers of respective units. Job included coordination among various engineers as well as management of the project inside the refinery. Preparing Calculation Algorithms for the project, data collection from various units, studying the process of various units for better implementation was a part of my role in project.

Production of 1MMTPA plant of anhydrous ethanol
The project continued during eight (8) months of academic study in the final year of IIT Roorkee. I was the project leader of a team of four. The project included Techno Economic Feasibility Analysis of the production plant we proposed. The complete research on available technology was done and from comparative studies on both economic and market grounds, a technology was selected to meet our requirements. The next task was the material and energy balance for the required capacity and augmented capacity incase of future expansions. All Process and Equipment Designs were done by hand as well as by Simulation to gain an expertise in the use of both Simulators as well as in Core Chemical Engineering Calculations. The other elements of this project were economic evaluation of the same through rigorous Financial Analysis pertaining to Cash Flow Analysis as well as a formation of an Organization Structure for the company so formed named as "Uttranchal Distilleries Limited". We were awarded a Merit Grade on the project by Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Roorkee as well as by Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun who invigilated the project.

This project was a part of the academic curriculum of IIT Roorkee and we designed a code which could demonstrate the mechanics of a SCARA- 4 armed robot in XYZ plane using Mathematical Equations that determine the algorithm of the movement of the SCARA robot. The coding was done in C++ and the code was embedded in AUTOCAD using a VB module. The graphics interphase of the AUTOCAD reflected the movement of the SCARA robot in the XYZ plane. I was awarded merit grade for the same.

Playing Cricket: This sport has been taken seriously by me every time I played the game as most of Indian Lads do. During academic study at IIT Roorkee, I have been constantly involved with the GAME much due to my interest than rather than just for getting grades for it was my proficiency. In Indian Oil Technical Services Cricket Team, I played five matches for the department in the INDIAN OIL CRICKET TOURNAMENT held on Feb, 2007. I was the opening bowler for the team and leaded my team till the Semi Finals of the tournament.

Writing: While reading was one of routes to the knowledge through the roads of WORDS, I also made efforts to build the road for others as well as for mine by writing more and more. My interest for the writing intended to bring out the information available in the Universe and presenting them in the forms of Articles, Presentations as well as Websites. Through blogs as well as through website forums, I have been able to interact with people as well as express my opinion about things as they are and how they can be improved. My plans in future are to write a book about Scientific Findings of various Scientists and the events that led them to succeed.

Traveling: I have traveled almost the entire zones of Indian Sub continent so far. I like collecting information about various places.
