 Inspection of Tanks repairs in QP Refinery (NODCO). Posted as Authorized inspector for Tank repair inside the plant and checking static equipment inspection and piping inspection. Checking condition for fitness to purpose all equipments.
 Carryout details study for tank roof, shell, bottom plate, annular plate & foundation for repair requirement as per API 653, all required area for modification and repair are identified and detailed location and type of repairs detailed to contractor for their modification.
 Selection of proper NDT to find out expected defects with guidelines with the recommended practice API RP 575 and client recommendation.

 Supplied as long term Plant Inspection Engineer to execute workshop & Plant welding activities as detailed below to ensure quality.
 Internal inspection of Boilers and other static equipment i.e. heat exchangers, Pressure Vessels during annual turn-around and in short shut downs and recommending the corrective actions wherever warranted.
 Periodic survey of thickness of equipment such as Columns, Vessels, Tanks etc and Piping systems using Ultrasonic thickness meters.
 Participation in preparation of inspection and Corrosion monitoring through computerized trending of thickness of all the equipment & piping.

 Recommending replacing of the units based on the inspection results during shutdowns.
 Ensures that all site inspection & corrosion management support requirements are dealt with promptly.
 Understanding the material suitability for the process medium and suggesting superior materials as and when required to improve the efficiency of the plants.
 Anticipating the expected corrosion mechanism and inspecting with the aid of advanced inspection methods like ultrasonic A-scan, B-Scan and IRIS inspection, etc.
 Developing standards and procedures for the management of integrity, inspection and corrosion management.

It involves approximately 25-km pipeline of 24" & 8" in Dukhan area and 30" station piping from S-2 station to QVC.

EPIC of 12" crossover pipe line for conservation of North field excess gas by injection into Arab D reservoir. Involving approximately 2 km 12" gasoline and 2" instrument airline and two-station piping.

As QA/QC Engineer

 Prepared and developed WPS, PQR AND WPQ for various projects and for various materials (CS, AS, SS, Super DSS, Inconel, Titanium etc.,) in accordance with standard (ASME sec IX, B31.3, 31.8, BP 192-II, API 1104 etc.).
