Position: Production Shift Supervisor

Operation of the Sabratha offshore gas / condensate consisting of three-phase separation, TEG gas drying, Nuovo Pignone reciprocating recycle compressor, high pressure condensate pumps and pipeline pigging, Siemens Tempest dual-fuel turbine-driven generation Alstom, utilities units as osmosis membrane fresh water maker, nitrogen unit - with membrane, instrument and service air, sea water, cooling water, injection package –methanol, MEG, corrosion inhibitor, diesel oil and fuel gas units. Software used for DCS licensed by ABB software – Tenore Advance Process Management System and Maximo asset management system for maintenance planning of the jobs.

Sabratha NC 41 offshore platform ( Saipem-HHI project)
Position: Production Shift Supervisor

Under Saipem Italy contractor I was involved in start up and operation of a gas / condensate offshore ENI GAS-NOC Libya owner Sabratha platform at Bahr Essalam field. My tasks were mainly the following:
- Planning the working activities of production operations during the shift.
- Allocates tasks to subordinate work teams; monitors team and individual performance taking remedial action as appropriate.
- Ensuring that the activities are carried out to the safety procedures.
- Coordinating the operators in carrying out their job, to assure the application in emergency situations of all operational procedures necessary to bring the plants in steady condition.

Sabratha NC 41 offshore platform ( Saipem-HHI project)
Position: Control Room Operator
I was involved in commissioning and start up of a gas/ condensate offshore ENI GAS–NOC Lybia owner Sabratha NC 41C natural gas exploration platform at Bahr Essalam field. My tasks were regarding the operating of the DCS type ABB Tenore system and safety valves testing. I am familiar with PFW system. Task accomplishments:
- To assure the correct running of oil/gas gathering, treatment plants and utilities.
- Supervising the plant process parameter in order to meet the production requirements.
- Monitors abnormal process and plant conditions, incidents, hazards or emergencies; initiates and supervises action to correct or contain same, reporting incidents and near misses per procedure.

Position: Deputy Production Manager

Responsible for the proper functioning for the following plants: OXO- Alcohols Gas Synthesis Unit, Chlor-alkali plants, VCM, PVC, Phtalic Anhidryde-Dioctilphtalate, Propylene oxide and Polyether Polyols plants. I was responsible for the quality of end products according to DIN ES ISO 9001 and DIN ES ISO 14001 standards. I coordinated the technological operation within the design parameters. Planning and supervising the maintenance works for current revisions and general overhauling, conducting the shut down and start up activities, ensuring plants re-entrance into regular operation after overhauling. I was involved in controlling and training the personnel, checking the strict observance of PTW (Permit to Work) system, workplace safety regulations and environment protection regulations.

Supervise the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of the plant (120000to/year caustic soda capacity). Conducting the process by control panel, DCS type Fisher Rosemount RS 3 and coordinating all tests necessary for start up. I supervised the PP, PVC, FRP, PVDF pipelines & vessels erection. I was involved in the activities of plant revamping. Supervising the design, erection and mounting of all equipment from electrolysis cell room to utilities. I collaborated directly with UHDE specialists.
