CAREER SUMMARY
Upon completion of Lafayette High School, I was awarded a Louisiana State Senate Academic Scholarship to Tulane University in Civil Engineering. When recruited in 1975 by Exxon Co., USA, New Orleans, La., I finished first in class of 30, Drilling Engineering Technology Course, Exxon Production Research Co. (EPRCO) and assigned to SE Division as Offshore Drilling Supervisor (10 yrs) aboard jack-ups and semi-submergibles, Gulf of Mexico. I was also EPRCO well control instructor and offshore safety chairman. Since that time, I have worked as a Drilling Supervisor (20 yrs) and Drilling Consultant (3 yrs), offshore and continental USA. I have acquired professional training and experience in multiple areas of the energy industry including: geology, exploration, production and environmental. I have strong skills in the implementation of well prognosis, well control, management of drilling rig contractor and service personnel, depth vs days and cost curves, AFE control, E&P waste management and implementation of HS&E programs. I have demonstrated the ability to solve engineering problems with intuitive innovative solutions.
