Major Accomplishments
1- As inspection engineer, inspected steel structures, static and rotary equipment, offshore and onshore piping & pipelines inspection, valve inspection; offshore Jacket and vessel inspection, lifting equipment inspection, leak testing, perform PT, MT and UT
thickness measurement, interpreted radiographic films, painting and corrosion inspection of offshore platforms and X-mass three, coordinated inspection and expedition activities.
2- As technical support engineer, prepared policies, procedures, work instructions, and inspection forms for various inspection activities, prepared technical proposals for international inspection tenders; prepared company written procedures on NDT methods
(RT, UT, VT, MT, PT) as well as company written practice for qualification and certification of NDT personnel, pressure vessel inspector, piping inspector, storage tank inspector and welding inspector; prepared company profile, brochure and catalogue (see www.irico.iredco.com).
3- As system auditor, performed QHSE audits of some of the largest oil and gas companies in Iran such as SAFF, SADRA, IOEC as Management Consultant of National
Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). Also I have technically audited many NDT, painting and welding subcontractors and performed vendor assessment of equipment manufacturers, executed final inspection of vessels and structures and worked as resident shop inspector.
Translated three books, entitled: "Maintenance and Maintainability Engineering",
"Purchasing and Supply Management", and "How to Develop and Manage Engineering
Procedures".
4-As head of office for industrial relations in the largest governmental organization in
Iran, identified, negotiated with, and assessed more than 300 major industrial suppliers in production as well as service industries, prepared contracts' technical appendices and specific conditions and represented my employer in several domestic as well as foreign deals as the principal technical negotiator
5- As chief supervising engineer of a car manufacturing project comprising of six major factories and several workshops, expedited, monitored, and inspected the manufacturing activities according to their respective quality plan and associated inspection procedures.
6- Seven years of active research experience on NDT methods and fracture mechanics of
Fiber reinforced Composite materials (FRCP) publishing three papers in international conferences held by ASTM(American Society for Testing and Materials), ICSTAD (
International Conference on Structural Testing, Analysis and Design) and, ICFM
(International Conference on Fracture Mechanics).

Sept. 2007 till 18 Dec. 2007 QA QC Inspector, Contract, Chair inspection meetings, Review of documents (NDT, welding & painting procedures and reports, WPS & PQR, PMI, MRB and also the site inspection of various vessels on behalf of Cameron Company all over UK (Cardiff, Yarmouth, Rothes, Buckie and Aberdeen).
Sept. 2001-July 2007 Senior QA/QC and Inspection Engineer for Salman oipresent gas field development project, Naftkav Engineering Co.
Reviewing contractors quality documents to ensure adherence to service contract;
carrying periodic inspection at site; auditing subcontractors; preparing quality plan and the associated procedures as well as the inspection and auditing plans ; verification of
NDT and DT test results, Supervision of Acid washing & pig running activities, valve and pilot tube inspection during yearly platform shutdown period; also perform lifting equipment statutory inspection, performing painting and corrosion inspection of platforms vessels as well as Penetrant Testing, Nitrogen and leak Testing of Valves and
Pilot tubes, ultrasonic (UT) thickness inspection of vessels and Radiographic
Interpretation of Welds. Audited subcontractors ITP and Procedures as well as technical auditing of NDT, welding and painting subcontractors, shop inspection of equipment manufacturers, structural and piping inspection of offshore Jackets and decks;
Supervision of 120 km offshore 30" pipe laying for salman oilfield (On Abouzar 1200).

-Sept. 2001 Inspected 2000 tons of steel structures (dimensional, welding, NDT and painting inspection), materials verification & traceability and inspection of Silos, boilers, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, storage tanks as resident shop inspector.; Acted as inspection coordinator, assessed inspection reports and liaised with client'srepresentative; Responsible for escalating problems notification, rectification and decision making until a resolution is reached; Prepared technical proposals for NDT, andother inspection services for oil, gas and petrochemical industries; Prepared company written practices and procedures on major inspection issues.
