Aug 2007 Kazakhstan-China-Pipeline, EPC-project with 962km-32" crude-oil-line and appending PIG-, BVS-, Pump-, and Metering stations.
Construction Management Engineer in pipeline owners team, responsible for comment, sign off and coordinate contractor submitted multi disciplined construction engineering and procurement documents, including detail design for mechanical and welding construction, with reference to international standards and specifications. Review, improvement of mechanical and welding specifications. Site quality control for installation of mechanical equipment and for welding of pipe- and structural constructions. Answer, comment and prepare TQ's, NCR's, EDC's during construction, engineering assistance during testing, commissioning and start up.
2005 Julius Berger PLC, Nigeria
NNPC filling station project, with construction of 7 stations.
Project engineer, in charge for all mechanical aspects, including completion of computer data and cash systems. Engineering and Supervision of mechanical and civil works e.g. welding, pipe-laying, tank-constructions, tank-lowering, excavation, formworks, concrete casting, steel structure erecting, tightness- and leakage tests and installation of dispensers. Supporting management and client with technical advice. Preparation and review of documents, especially HSE and QA/QC matters. Giving assistance during commissioning, start-up and hand over phase. Leading of client's staff training and induction courses.
2002 – 2004 Bilfinger Berger Gas and Oil Services, Nigeria
2003 – 2004 NNPC Warri, Escravos/ Nigeria.
Project coordinator and Site Engineer, responsible for 7 emergency line-repairs for 24" crude and 20" gas trunk lines, after bomb attacks through locals. Responsible for site engineering, planning, procurement, construction, QA/QC, HSE, reporting and community relations.
2002 - 2003 AGIP-Naoc Nigeria, Niger-delta.
Site Engineer, responsible for the construction of 20 km 14" crude oil pipeline, combined with flow lines for nine boreholes of an onshore oil platform. In charge for construction, engineering, reporting, planning, tender process and leading of all hydro-tests. Building partly also under swamp conditions.
2002 – 2003 Shell NCTL repair of corroded risers.
Project coordinator and site manager. Project preparation, leading and supervising of corroded oil pipeline riser repairs at 28" river crossings in mangrove swamp area, with construction of cofferdams, welding on life lines, hot tap and stopple operations. Preparation of documents and in particular handling HSE and QA/QC matters.
1983 -2001 Franz Lackner Pipeline Welding and Service, Traunstein-Germany
Own company for pipe-construction, welding and service works.
Responsible for the implementation of complete pipe-construction contracts for building high pressure gas-, oil-, water- and heating-lines.
