Senior Electronics/Design Engineer: Supervision of Huisman works relating to the "Control System", power distribution and drive systems. Detailed analysis of the application hardware and software for the full compliance of equipment to "Control System" specifications. Design review of main documents for approval prior to any further issue for construction. Responsible for reporting to the Project Management on a regular basis regarding the status of all equipement being manufactured under the contract.
Preliminary Factory Acceptance Tests carried out in Alewijnse Facilities ("Control System", monitoring and supervision software, Siemens Drive Converters and Frequency Controllers, Hydraulic Power Unit), in Caley workshop (carousels, hang off module). The functions of the system have been simulated to demonstrate the right functioning of the system. A second FAT was carried out in Huisman workshop, this test comprise the electrical functioning of the system in connection with mechanical and hydraulic systems and packages. The functions of the system were demonstrated as far as possible and reasonable (tensioners). Inspection in HMD shipyard - South Korea for main and secondary cable routing and drag chain.
