I am 52 years old, a married man of 29 years. My wife and I raised a family of 4 boys.
I spent 16 years in the drilling industry as a Driller before taking a family break. As my kids started to grow, I felt the best thing for my family, was to take a break from the oil patch, and stay home with my wife, to raise my boys. I bought a small business in 1990, and worked at making it a large and highly successful business, bringing it from $20,000 annual sales to over $1.2 million annual sales. Now that my children have grown, and gone from home I have sold the business and returned to the drilling industry in the fall of 2005 as a Drilling Consultant.
My experience prior to consulting was mostly in Alberta, on the 2000 to 5000 meters wells. Also drilled offshore, four seasons in the Canadian Arctic. Some international experience in Ghana- Africa, Queensland-Australia,
As a drilling consultant I have experience drilling 2000 to 2600 meters wells south of Grand Prairie,( Alberta, Canada).Also I did a project for CNRL, 1000 to 1800 meter wells with an endless tubing rig. And with Sherritt International I worked in Cuba drilling long reach horizontals.

I am a dedicated professional with 19 years oilfield experience, 16 years of that as a driller; and I am presently in my3 rd year of Oilfield Consulting. Throughout my career, I have gained many qualities that have helped me become successful. Through my drilling experiences I have proved to be knowledgeable, efficient, resourceful, and dependable. Having owned and operated a very successful small business I can say with confidence that I am responsible and organized, and can coordinate many projects in timely and cost-effective ways. I have a very strong personality that has proven to allow me to get along with others, while still being able to be a proficient leader.
