Reservoir Engineer at R2T (Reservoir to Tank) Project, Hassi Messaoud, Algeria.
R2T is a project between Schlumberger and Sonatrach, its objectives are to optimize the production of Hassi Messaoud Oilfield and review the development strategy of the field in order to maximize the oil recovery.
Project team consists of multi-disciplined Schlumberger and Sonatrach engineers working together to develop and execute a profitable reservoir management program.
Main responsibilities as reservoir engineer:
* Well review and management.
* Work on Injection Cell-by-Cell basis to assess gas injection process in zone 25 of Hassi Messaoud Oilfield, and better manage gas breakthrough in oil production wells.
* Working in concert with R2T engineers to develop a field monitoring and surveillance program, and to build a reservoir model that can be used in simulation studies.

Reservoir Engineer, Sonatrach Hassi Messaoud, Algeria.
Working as reservoir engineer for Petroleum Engineering and Development Division (PED) of the Algerian oil company SONATRACH, in Hassi-Messaoud, Algeria's largest oilfield.
Essential Job Duties:
* Reservoir investigation of a well's performance to determine the causes of low rate and decide about action that needs to be undertaken on the well to increase productivity (such as plugging and abandoning the well, fracturing the well, conversion to a short-radius, acidizing, cleanout, additional perforations, plugging of perforations in a certain interval, etc.).
* Nodal analysis and optimization for reservoir near-wellbore and lower completion behavior, single well and integrated asset networks.
* Production behavior monitoring, reporting, analysis and definition of remedial intervention and optimization strategies.
