Exploration Geologist, a Phd graduated, 25 years experience, with a high level knowledge and complementary education and training in geology, petroleum Geology, management, G &G exploration Methods.
A self starter and a leadership with high ability to motivate and manage exploration teams, co-ordinate and manage of internal and external resources to deliver exploration projects ; exploration project identification budgeting, planning, ranking, resources and delivery, including acreage and prospect evaluation. * EXPERIENCE:I have 25 years effective experience with a significant management skill and team management qualification in petroleum exploration in a national oil Company, with a large knowledge and experience in the carbonate, fractured and tight reservoirs, and a proven experience in the complex geological and highly fractured areas of the northern part of Algeria and Tunisia ( alpine geology), in petroleum geology, exploration works, project management, project assessment, prospects identification, play assessment, risk analysis(Geological and economical aspects ), geological and geophysical works programs.
I also worked on many projects to evaluate both internal and external proposals in order to fund new joint ventures(evaluation and identifications of new exploration opportunities in Algeria and in international ).
Manage and development of geosciences staff by implementation focused training and development plans; Advise and support management on geosciences, work with functional managers to ensure integration of multi-disciplinary project teams. QHSE performance and reporting, development and applying standards for all Geological and Geophysical studies, programs and plans;
Prepare technical reports and participate on recommendation for direct negotiations, bid rounds, farm-in, and potential acquisition based of the integrated geological, geophysical, engineering and economic data. Raising standards of technical systems,reporting and presentation.
I was also in charge of technical, administrative, legal, environmental, and financial aspects of all the exploration works and programs: budgetary control, procedures, contract, negociations, data- rooms, bid-rounds, convention studies, publications, seminars, etc...

- Geologist: 1983 / 1984 in National petroleum company;
- Junior Exploration Geologist: 1984 / 1991 in National petroleum company;
- Senior Exploration Geologist: 1991 / 1995 in National petroleum company;

- A Head of Exploration Department in a National Oil Company (2000 - 2006), in charge of the exploration works programs. I managed many exploration projects and many exploration teams;

After my first gradation from the Algiers University in 1983 ( Engineer Structural Geologist ), i joined sonatrach ( Exploration Division) in the following opositions:exploration geologist ( 02 years),
Jr geologist ( 5 years ),Senior Geologist ( 05 years ), chief Geologist ( 05 years )and finally Head of exploration Department ( 06 years ):
- Geologist and Jr. Geologist ( 1983 - 1991): in charge of the exploration in the NE area of Algeria: geological and geophysical data request, geological reports, implementation reports, final well reports, geological fild trips, follow up the exploration wells, geological mapping, interwell correlations, geological previsional well logs, cross sections, etc.., prospect identification and basin analysis, hydrocarbon evaluation and multidisciplinary studies of open blocks, research of potential blocks and carry out the exploration licences of the new blocks, data rooms, etc... ;
***During this period ( sept 1985 to December 1991) i prepared my doctorate thesis in petroleum geology in the oil and gas Academy of goubkine in Moscow, and graduated ( Phd in geology in 24.12.1991).
- Senior Geologist Position ( 1991 - 1996): A team leader in charge of all the exploration programs and works in the S.E.constantine Basin( North East of Algeria):responsable for the work programs in the exploration blocks, carry out all the geological, geopysical, geochemical studies and reports, prospect identification and ranking, risk analysis, regional and local mapping of the main oil and gas targets, co ordinate the exploration works and manage multidisciplinary team ( geologists, geophysists, petrophysists, geochemist...) and follow up the exploration works( sismique acquisition, exploration and appraisal wells, geochemical studies in laboratory, sismic processing in reprocessing, etc...), field trips, play assessment, local and regional studies, carry out all the necessary exploration reports and studies, participate to budgetisation and planification of the exploration works, bid round, Data rooms, participate to the convention sudies, and the negotiation of the contracts of exploration works, etc..;
- Chief Geologist Position ( 1995 - 2000 ): in charge of all the exploration works in Northern Algeria, responsible for the exploration projects and programs, co ordinate between the different projects, carry out all the geological, geophysical, geochemical studies and reports, presentation of exploration results, report and present the results to the management, participate to realization of exploration programs, planing, budgetisation, data rooms, bid round, convention studies, technical commitees with the partners, to the contracts negotiation meetings, presente the new exploration opportunities and new exploration and appraisal wells, carry out the monthly, annual reports, implementation wells reports and final wells reports, participate to prepare the Hse and procedure reports, manage the Human ressources and participate to the training and the evolution of the technical qualification and communication skills of the teams, etc...
- Head of the Exploration Department ( 2000 to 30.11.2006): in charge of all the exploration works in Northern Algeria, responsible for the exploration projects, programs, development of exploration teams, plannings, budgetisation, investissments, Hse managment, trainings programs, co ordination between the exploration Department, strategy of exploration, reporting to the exploration manager, presentation of exploration programs and results, projects managment, carry out the procedures, contracts, supervise all the exploration works and studies, responsible for the training and development of the human ressources, carry out all the administrative works of the Department, collaborate with the administrative, training, legal, financial, Hse and others departments to respects the procedures of the Exploration Division, of the company and the government, Participate to the internal and external management meetings, bid rounds, presentation of the exploration results and new opportunities to the management, participate to the technical meetingsand presentation, technical and management commitees with the Partners, Technical congress and Seminars Etc....
