SUMMARY OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Over 30 years experience within the domestic and international oil, gas, petro-chemical and power industries from feasibility and design concept to operation, specifically and over the last 13 years involved in senior project management roles and extensively with the engineering design, fabrication, hook-up, commissioning and start up of large high profile projects on behalf of owner/operator companies and major EPC contractors worldwide, the above includes exposure and involvement to the aspects of NPV, politics, funding and with the sanction approval processes and decision gates. Experience includes projects being developed by single or multiple operators/partners and based on fixed price contract, alliance contract, re-imbursible or lease and operate contract principles, the Project Total costs have ranged from US$ 4 million to US$ 7 billion, with direct budget responsibility for all or part of project costs. Experience encompasses strategy / field concept development, estimating, planning, constructability, design input and review, business development, procurement, fabrication, construction, completions/commissioning, start-up, maintenance and operations execution. I have experience and knowledgeable of the many strategic, commercial and contractual aspects of Greenfield and Brownfield developments and associated installation, construction and commissioning management. I have also acted as a Flawless Project Delivery lead and as the Innovation's Champion on 2 of my last 3 projects.

2006/Date SHELL NIGERIA EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION CO LTD

Overall Project Completions, Commissioning & Start Up Manager engaged on the Shell Bonga South West / Aparo development project, this will be developed using a 150 kbopd throughput industry standard leased Turret moored FPSO with full oil, gas, water processing and control facilities, Oil Export will be via Tandem Offloading to shuttle tankers, Gas export will be via a 16" pipeline to the OGGS system and the Subsea development will consist of 41 subsea wells some of which are SMART, in my role I am responsible for overall management and coordination of all of the project completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities as well as all future Offshore Activities. To date I have been fully involved in the FPSO and Subsea ITT's development, review, assessment and negotiations, as well as company schedule and cost estimates, once the project moves into execution I will be responsible for all integrated commissioning and start-up activities required to ensure the safe and timely start of the FPSO and associated sub-sea systems to achieve First Oil and Flawless Start Up of the facilities as well as being the responsible for all of the Offshore activities as OCT Manager. Accountabilities include but are not limited to, Management of an Integrated Commissioning Team and Offshore Completions Team, Development and management of Offshore and total project Commissioning and Start Up Plans, Liaison with the Project Director and contractors to review the design and to remediate problems that are encountered during the execution processes, my ultimate responsibility is to deliver a facility that will operate safely and to the operating parameters defined by the Project.

2003/2005 AMEC/SHELL NIGERIA EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION CO LTD

Overall Project Engineer / Project Completions and RFSU Leader engaged on the Shell Bonga Field development project. The Bonga field is some 60 km2 and required a complex and extensive subsea system to extract the oil from such deep water. Production facilities comprise one of the world's largest floating production, storage and offloading vessels (FPSO) and deepwater subsea infrastructure. Subsea well clusters were drilled and completed from a mobile drilling unit and connected to the centrally located FPSO by production flowlines, risers and control umbilicals (nameplate production of 225,000 barrels of oil and 150 million scf of natural gas per day). Responsible for all Commissioning Management and Co-Ordination during the final 5 months of the Onshore Integration phase in the UK. This involved managing all aspects of the onshore commissioning execution as well as developing the offshore Integrated HUC plan with Shell. In the Offshore phase provided Project HUC Management, Support and guidance to the Offshore Integrated Completions Team re all aspects of HUC but especially, personnel, materials, planning, completions systems, co-ordination and expediting of engineering support as well as supporting the day-to-day offshore requirements. Subsequently responsible for all Project System Acceptance deliverables to ensure the Project was ready for Hydrocarbon start up and Asset Handover to the Operations Team. Significant achievement were, over 2,000 personnel mobilized to work in Nigeria, over 1 million man hours offshore LTI free and after start up over 95% availability in the 1st year of operation, the facility becoming the example for all other Shell projects to follow with regards to the last 2 years of execution and operability.

2001/2003 KELLOGG BROWN & ROOT/PETROBRAS

Overall Project Completions Manager/Advisor engaged on the Barracuda and Caratinga development, deepwater oil and gas fields of the Campos Basin (production capacity of 180,000 barrels of oil per day per FPSO, with over 80 subea wells being tied back to the 2 FPSO's). Responsible for preparing for the hook-up and commissioning during vessel conversion, topside fabrication, onshore integration, offshore commissioning, offshore performance testing, offshore operation and offshore reliability testing, developed forecast cost estimates prior to becoming budget holder for all project integration, commissioning and offshore budgets. Duties involved working with the Engineering Manager on innovation and operability during design and verifying this as technically acceptable whilst planning for the shortest possible integration/offshore hook up, commissioning and start up durations, defined and developed the detailed completions project execution strategy for all project locations. Also worked with procurement to agree and define seller\vendor scope testing and execution strategy during all project phases. Developed design completions tools for fabrication, integration and commissioning deliverables. Post design responsibilities included execution of the commissioning management\co-ordination, development of and execution of the integrated hook-up and commissioning plans for the two FPSOs and for subsea start up, operating activities and wells tie back. Responsible for technical integration compliance for completions and commissioning interfaces across conversion, fabrication and two offshore locations.

1997/2000 SHAW MONT BROWN & ROOT/PETROCANADA

Overall Completions Manager engaged on the Terra Nova FPSO alliance project (a 150kbopd ice strengthened new build FPSO with the world's largest disconnect-able internal Turret and the challenges of the 1st FPSO in the hostile Eastern Canadian waters), responsible for developing detailed feed design and assisting the project team to develop the execution strategy and initial project sanction cost during the feed design stage based on owners initial key component criteria, the 1st sanction and estimate was rejected by the stakeholders due to a high NPV. Appointed as key leader on a team of five persons as Challenge Manager\Innovation Champion, jointly responsible for reducing the project development cost by C$ 500 million and presenting to the owner board members. Project sanction was successfully achieved based on the new execution strategy and reduced development cost. Also worked as part of the selection team involved in detailed commercial and technical assessment and interviews of FPSO vessel potential shipbuilders during the vessel builder assessment selection process. Responsible for managing a team of engineers to define completions management quality procedures and managed FPSO's ship, topsides, turret and subsea systems commissioning execution on the new building FPSO. Additional responsibilities included technical integration compliance for completions/commissioning interfaces with the alliance across five worldwide locations, the above was completed utilizing a team of site leads, discipline leads, engineers, vendors and technicians at the vessel shipyard, the turret/module fabrications yards and at the atshore HUC site. Also held direct budget responsibility for the scope above.

1995/1997 BROWN & ROOT/SHELL UK

Project Commissioning and Start Up Manager responsible for managing all on/offshore commissioning on a major upgrade of Fulmar A offshore production platform to include new oil pumping and control modules, new pipeline tie-ins for oil and fuel gas and the relevant topside modifications to existing facilities. Initially responsible for reviewing design, supervising development of detailed commissioning procedures, platform operating manuals and developing detailed on/offshore commissioning and hook-up schedules. Subsequently based at the onshore fabrication yard supervising onshore testing prior to mobilising offshore. Latterly worked offshore managing all aspects of old/new facilities commissioning and the start-up/transfer of oil export from turret loading to the Norpipe pipeline export system as well as new gas import facilities.

1995 BROWN & ROOT/MOBIL NORTH SEA

Hook-up and Commissioning Manager engaged on the Galahad Field development, responsible for managing all aspects of commissioning and offshore hook-up for a not normally manned tripod style platform. Duties involved supervising development of detailed commissioning procedures and on/offshore commissioning and hook-up schedules and managing and co-ordinating engineers, technicians and vendors to complete maximum onshore testing. Offshore work included managing well/pipeline hook-up and testing to the remote control centre at Bacton.

1995 BROWN & ROOT/BHP PETROLEUM

Hook-up and Commissioning Manager responsible for managing a team and developing the offshore hook-up program for four drilling platforms and a jacket ESDV platform. Duties involved working at the onshore fab site developing all aspects the planned work and the contract and then being directly responsible for the satisfactory execution of the offshore works from the Onshore base offices.
