Career Profile: Professional Geologist (Masters Level) with over 10 years experience in the Oil & Gas Industry. Positions include:
Operations Geologist - managing on- and off-shore multi-rig, multi-well, programs. Monitoring drilling operations, ensuring correct and initial interpretation of data and supervising contractors so that programmed schedule and quality requirements are met.
Play Geologist - prospect generation, reservoir mapping and prospect evaluations,
International Wellsite Geologist - supervising vertical, horizontal, development and/or rank exploration wells across three continents.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
Operations Geologist (2002 - )
Provided operational geological coverage for multi-well and multi-rig drilling programs for Talisman (Trinidad) Exploration, Anadarko Canada, and Waveform Energy.
Operations extended from pre-drill planning stages and prognosis compilation, through drilling and formation evaluation, to ultimate completion and/or abandonment.
Responsibilities included (but were not limited to):
* Bid submission requests, contract negotiation, review and ultimate authorization for wireline logging, mudlogging and wellsite geological service providers, coring and core analysis contractors, and special requirement contractors.
* Compilation of Geological prognosis documents, detailing formation evaluation and mudlogging programs, coring requirements, and expected formation and reservoir tops. All documented in detail to ensure compliance with specific government regulations and that all company requirements were satisfied.
* Selection and overseeing of all wellsite geologists. On call 24/7 to address operational issues, implement required while drilling changes in procedures, and logistical co-ordination of personnel, data, and geological equipment required on location.
* QC of all geological, mudlogging and wireline data, and ultimate distribution to relevant government, partner and company parties.
* Verification and authorization of invoices submitted by respective contractors and service providers.
* Main liaison between the G&G and Drilling departments, ensuring that wireline, coring and sampling requirements are understood and obtained safely and accurately in accordance with government regulations and company requirements.
* Ensuring that Drilling department is kept up to date regarding potential geo-hazards, and recommending alternative available options if procedural changes are required.
* Compilation and review of final well evaluation reports and final end-of-well summary reports for distribution to relevant partners including government bodies and in-house teams.
* Applying for license reversions, logging waivers, or special clauses to the relevant Government bodies where and when required; typically on an as-needed (short notice) basis.

Consultant Geologist: KNOC/Viet Nam Office (Oct 2007-April 2008)
* In-house geological consultant brought in to complete the compilation of final well evaluation reports (FWER) for KNOCs offshore exploration and development program completed in 2006/07, Block 11-2, Nam Con Son Basin, offshore Viet Nam. Reports were required for submission to PetroVietnam as per government regulations.
* Development program targeted stacked marine sand reservoirs of the Early Miocene Mang Cau Formation. Exploration wells were drilled across three individual structures through Block 11-2, and targeted the marine to deltaic sequences of the Middle Miocene Mang Cau and Thong Formations.
* Reports involved detailed review and summation of all contractor and service provider reports. Including: wellsite geological, petrophysical, petrographic, core analysis, and biostratigraphic studies/data. Said reports were evaluated individually, ensuring data coherency and validity for subsequent incorporation into a singular final report for government submission.
* Correlation of individual sand horizons (using Petrel) across wells and/or individual structures were performed to ensure horizon continuity within the individual prospects.

International Wellsite Operations (1997 onwards)
* Experience through Brazil, Ecuador, Yemen and both Western and Atlantic Canada, supervising on- and off-shore, multi-well development and rank exploration projects.
* Wells supervised include deep verticals (> 3500 m) and deep horizontals, through to extended reach (>1000 m) and/or multi-leg horizontals.
* Wells and projects targeted both normally pressured and over-pressured reservoirs, monitored through use of LWD Sonic, Resistivity and Neutron/Density, where needed.
* Supervision of on-site mudlogging services and personnel and wireline data acquisition, and distribution of all said data to relevant government, partner and company bodies.
* QC of full suite wireline logging operations: including MDT, DSI, CMR, FMI/OBMI, CST, MSCT, VSP, in addition to full suite LWD combinations.
* Communication, collaboration and information dispersal to specific government ministries, including writing final end-of-well reports for said bodies.
* Horizontal well supervision through both carbonate and clastic reservoirs, targeting porosity zones ranging in thickness from multiple-metres to less than one metre. Supervision included either single leg, long reach (>1000m) wells to multi-leg, multi-target wells.
* Horizontal well supervision required "while drilling" adjustments to TVD target horizons through use of on-site LWD data, cutting samples and bit angle predictions (Geo-steering).
* Independent research projects for clients using core and sample analysis, providing stratigraphic correlations for determining: facies analysis, diagenetic history analysis, incorporation to regional geological frameworks, reservoir property characterization.
* Experienced with varied drilling systems and techniques, including: Nitrogen-injection systems, foam/mist based under-balanced drilling, oil-based mud systems, and standard water-based drilling systems.

VP Exploration: Waveform Energy Ltd (2005 - 2006)
Reporting directly to the CEO, CFO and the Board of Directors, was brought in at the initial stages of the company to help to build to sell, predominantly through the drill bit. Responsibilities included:
* Play and prospect generation for the company across its acquired exploration land base, which covered 41000 acres (16,500 hectares).
* Drilling and geological planning, implementation, supervision and eventual completion of identified prospects, resulting in two new light oil discoveries on the company's land.
* Coordination and review of Reservoir Characterization studies, Regional Play/Prospect reviews, and Independent Reserve Calculations for the company's reserve submissions.
* Review and assessment (technical and economic) of proposed new joint ventures, farm-in or acquisitions. Contract terms and agreement reviews for same if presented
* Investor Relations presentations through Calgary, Boston and New York for multiple Company financings, general shareholder meetings, and AGMs.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Title: Neoproterozoic carbonates of the Jasper region: Sedimentology, stratigraphy and stromatolite morphology.
Research project focused on detailing the initiation, growth, development and ultimate termination of three Neoproterozoic carbonate platforms exposed in the Rocky Mountains.
Depositional modelling, facies analysis and stratigraphy generation were achieved through detailed field mapping and lithological correlation, and facies transition mapping.
Carbonate mineralogy, diagenetic history, fabric determination and cement genesis was determined through plain light and CL petrography, XRD and geochemical analysis.
Reefal development was placed within a sequence stratigraphic framework and correlated with regional, national and international equivalents within the Neoproterozoic.
