Summary
Three years experience as a Reservoir Engineer working on subsea deepwater operated dry gas fields offshore in the Mediterranean Sea. I have gained a good reservoir modeling experience using ECLIPSE software. In addition I have gained significant experience in gas processing production operations and the interaction of facilities with reservoir performance.
Primary Responsibilities
* Build Low; mid and high case reservoir simulation models for Scarab/Saffron, serpent Fields.
* History matching the deep-water subsea Scarab/Saffron development identifying uncertainties in areas of communication (thin beds contribution and compartmentalization). The achievement was to build Scarab/Saffron dynamic model with checking the GIIP numbers and compared it with G&G. the model had divided to different regions base on its characterize of GWC, change in PVT properties & region help for performing simulation sensitivities with saving time, apply a lot of simulation sensitivities to history matching the wells performance which subdivided to three group with a communication between the wells for each group.
* Editing the model using floviz softwares.
* Construct sector models to determine the critical gas rate, peak water rate and the break through time. These models were used to increase well deliverability and production rates.
* Preparing excel sheets for calculations of the critical and erosion rates.
* Analysis for the clean up data and multi rate tests.
* Well location optimization to achieve the highest reserve and the longest plateau.
* PBU analyses for WDDM phase four &Scarab/Saffron development wells using KAPPA SAPHIR.
* Material balance calculation for Scarab/Saffron field to confirm the field gas in place with the deliver numbers from G&G.
* Generation and matching of vertical flow performance (VFP) tables using PROSPER to be used in simulation models.
* Optimization of the Scarab/Saffron field production including testing priority.
* Scarab/Saffron reservoir management plan.
* Participated in creating the WDDM Field Development plan (FDP) including 9 future development phases of wells, compression, and additional subsea lines to generate the WDDM field's ultimate reserves and production profiles with different demand rates.
* Modifying the WDDM Allocation spreadsheet to calculate layers/wells/fields the gas, condensate production rates and the gas pooling between domestic and LNG fields. This was done to prepare a spreadsheet to calculate layer (in smart wells completion), well, and field gas and condensate allocated rates which are linked to the data management system connected to the control system in the field site and at the Cairo office.
* Open-hole and cased-hole log interpretation.
* Performing the MDT from the rig site, MDT preparations and analysis.
* Offshore experience of sub-sea completion & well clean-up operations.
* Start-up and commissioning of Sapphire wells, WDDM phase IV wells.
* Daily monitoring of production report for 24 wells and preparation WDDM production scenarios to cover the potential Offtake scenarios while respecting well of shut-in priority for data collection for deliverability tests, interference tests and Pressure Build-Up tests.
* Rebuild Scarab/Saffron dynamic model with the reprocessing of seismic data.
* Performed a lot of the reservoir engineering work associated with WDDM Phase-4 development.
* Scarab/Saffron wells Interference tests plan with respective the total field gas demand rate.
* Using schedule software to build schedule section for both smart & conventional wells.
* Investigate Scarab/Saffron field water production source by using Prosper software since Scarab/saffron wells is equipped with down hole venture to measure the gross rate and did not give any indication about water production.
* Performed work to select the best location of Saffron A ¡Vsouth channel well location.
* I was an active member of the team that optimized the subsea locations for the 8 WDDM Phase-4 wells along with G&G and the projects department and in selecting the surface location for these wells which give idea about flow line lengths and the manifold required for commissioning.
* Participated in intervention work in choke changes and clearing hydrates from wells with complete hydrate blockage.
* Participate in the PDMS production data management system installation.
* Preparing WDDM Phase IV start up procedure and the reservoir management plan.
* Prepare SCSA PETREL model.
