Responsibilities

Inspection of Piping & Instrument System as per P&ID, Water flushing of Pipe Lines, Chemical Cleaning, Air Flushing and drying, LP Leak testing, Cardboard Blasting, Purging, HP Leak testing etc.

Offshore Production Operations
Well experienced in offshore wellhead platform, process platform and work over rigs.
Having good experience in the following fields.
Work over and Well Completion:
Worked in Well Completion Work over and Wire line Departments of Bombay High, North, and South and Satellite field. Operations and Installation of different types of X-Mas Trees namely Brada, Cameron, FMC, IKS-NKM, BHEL, Veto Grey etc including injection of Plastic Packing, running control line for Single and Dual completion, function and pressure testing of X-Mass Tree and SCSSV, conversant with Hydraulic Shutdown Panels and Single Well Control Panels, using in Production and well completion/Work over. Installation and removal of BPV and DCV, preparation and pressure testing of Well Completion sub-assemblies as per program of Well Services.
Well conversant with Halliburton ¡V OTIS, Baker and Camco Down hole equipment's viz. Expansion Joint, retrievable Hydraulic set Single and Dual Packers, Permanent Packer Seal Assembly, Tubing Retrievable SCSSV, Retrievable SCSSV, Landing Nipple type X, XN, F, R, Safety Valve Nipple type RQ, S, BA, Flow Coupling Gas Lift Single and Dual pocket Mandrel, Tubing Hanger, Swivel Sub, Blast Joint, Glass Disc sub various type Wire Line Re-entry guide and Side Slide Door. Servicing and testing of Single and Dual X-mas Trees. Very familiar with valve system of Cameron, Breda Energia and FMC X-Mas Trees and well conversant with all other well head equipment's like Casing Head Spool, Tubing Head Spool, Test Plug, Seal and Slip Assembly and Weir Bushing.
Well familiar with maintenance and operation of Hydraulic wire cutting Actuator and reverse acting valve make of FMC, Baker Oil Tools and Breda Energia.
Redress and maintenance of well testing X-over, Circulating Heads, E.S.D System, Back Pressure Valve, Lubricators and Wire line Surface Control Equipment's, viz. Lubricators, B.O.P., Stuffing Boxes etc. Fully conversant with various types of Wire line tools. Involved in redressing maintenance of various wire line tools at workshop of make Halliburton, Camco, Baker, Flopetrol, Petrolane etc. During this period also worked with latest PCE Multi Lateral Completion Systems.the job required knowledge of various types of threads used in completion such as VAM, Hydraulic NK3-SB used for X-Mas Tree. Otis, Seaco, Bowen, WECO, & OCT Hammer Unions etc. Charging and Maintenance of Chemical Injection Valve, Casing and Tubing operated Gas Lift Valves
Wellhead
Inspection and operation of Christmas tree, flow line choke changing well actuating, well equalizing, checking STHP, FTHP readings, well head panel operation, annulus pressure bleeding, surface safety valve (SSV), sub surface safety valve (SSSV) operation, Test work over Rigs acid jobs, bottom hole study, flow line-flushing jobs. Participate under instruction in launching pigs into pipelines, prepare pig receiver station and remove the pig separator handling, well testing oil/gas/water. Taking samples for check specific gravity and BS & W. Checking of water injection and gas injection wells. Isolation and hand over wells to well services for perforation and check it for damages under the guidance of the executive engineer and flow line check-up for leaks.
Process
Operation and control of three phase separators, operation of gas dehydration unit and handling gas injection high pressure gas compressors, operation of water injection wells, hot oil unit and crude oil pumping unit, pipeline pigging operation and chemical injection unit.
Operation of crude oil transfer pumps, water injection pumps, fire water pumps, chemical injection pumps, blow down pump, submersible pumps and compressors, handling fire extinguisher, fire water hose, fire monitor, fire hydrant, life ring, life boat etc
Safety Trainings
1. Sea survival Training course for offshore works at Shipping Corporation of India.

4 Having valid Indian driving License.
OPERATOR
BASIC FUNCTION
Carries out various skilled operating activities of the operations unit, system and equipment in the Refinery to process feed stock/treat hazardous waste for environment protection. Includes carrying out regular inspection of utilities and facilities, preparation of the area for various maintenance jobs, signing work permits for area preparedness to start maintenance work as well as commissioning of equipments after completion of maintenance work.
WORK PERFORMED:
1. Carries out regular and detailed inspection of all rotating equipment used in operations such as, electric motors, gas and steam driven turbines, pumps, centrifugation unit and compressors, etc., as well as towers, vessels, incinerator and heat exchangers to ensure accurate and proper functioning of each item independently and in synchronization with other equipment.
2. Adjust manually a variety of valves and switches governing rate flow of fluids or gases and levels, pressure, temperature and chemical to ensure the correct output of specified product.
3. Carries out independently various adjustments, line up systems for day to day operations activities, such as transfer, blending, addition of chemicals, diversion of products route at battery limits, advises control room immediately of abnormalities or difficulties in operations.
4. Reads and logs readings at regular specified intervals from indicators and gauges or instruments located on equipment in the operating area. Records and advises control room operator of apparent deviations from specified operating conditions and adjust as required.
5. Prepares, upon receiving instruction, equipment for maintenance activities such as manual isolation, de-pressurization and drain. Follows-up maintenance works in his area to ensure that job s are progressing and work permits conditions are being adhered to. Pre-commission and commission equipment after completion of maintenance work, participates and monitors equipment during the tests.
6. Carries out simple maintenance work such as blinding, de-blinding of smaller size pipelines, fixes minor leaks of steam/condensate, connects/disconnects fittings of flexible hoses and grease isolating valves to ensure they are in good working condition.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
a) Completion of General / Technical Secondary (12years) education followed by 2 years full time training leading to a Diploma in a technical trade.
b) 5-6 years experience in the field of operation in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
c) Good knowledge of English both written and spoken d) Fair knowledge of DCS and PLC Applications
