1998 to Present Drilling Foreman (Company Man) – 4 AM Solutions, LLC, Pinedale, WY
On-site operations manager of land drilling, completion, intervention, and development of single and multi-zone, oil & gas, coal bed methane, water injection and supply wells (200' to +14,500' MD HTHP). Responsible for monitoring project costs and overrun mitigation. Supervise under-balanced drilling, as well as installation, assembly, and completion of single and multi-zone wells. Oversee & enforce daily operational safety, and methodical procedures to develop, enhance and comply with best practices.
In addition to daily drilling operations, duties also encompass completion supervision, fracturing, coil-tubing drill outs, fluid coordination and logistics. Further responsibilities include mentoring, life coaching, developer and cultivator of junior personnel into a Limit Drilling and Safety culture. Additional duties further include business development, proposal and graphics creation, proposal publication, client relations, drill system innovations, AFEs, and corporate development, operational safety and technical limit coaching, (crew training), project management, contract negotiation/administration and financial management throughout the United States as well as limited projects in Latin America. Primary clients include Shell E & P Americas, Marathon Oil, Devon Energy, JM-Huber, Williams, Barrett Resources as well as other private & publicly traded contract drilling and service firms. Took new start-up rig and established numerous new Pinedale Anticline Records as well as repeated Nabors "Top Ten" Rig List. Drilled 2007 wells at an average cost of 79% of DWOP and 62% of AFE targets.
Additional Skills:
Strong administrative, supervisory, technical writing, life coaching, Limit Drilling, people development and management skills. Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), DIMS, Open Wells, Production Access, PageMaker, Corel Draw and Draft, programs in either Windows or Macintosh format.
Over 25 years of land rig experience in drilling (200' to +14,500' MD with mud weights to +18 ppg.) completion, production operations, marketing, construction, well control and contract management. Skilled operating engineer/manager of all types of drilling, completion, cementing, production, heavy, pipeline and fluid treatment equipment. Fluent in Spanish.
