OBJECTIVE:
I have been working for the past 10 years in India in GAIL (India) ltd. WORK EXPERIENCE:
Since March'2004 to till date at GAIL (India) Limited, Delhi
As Manager (Gas Mktg.) the incumbent possesses 8 years Corporate experience as with following accountabilities:
-Draft and send contracts Gas Transmission Contract & Gas Supply Contract for the purchase and sale of gas/transmission capacity in close liaison with the supporting departments viz ; Pricing, O&M, Legal and Project development.
-Receive and reply to counterparty contracts.
-Ensure that incoming contracts accurately reflect the terms agreed as recorded in the deal capture systems and the deal sheet and are fit for purpose.
-Follow up and ensure that contract confirmations are sent and received in a timely fashion.
-Respond to non-standard counterparties' contracts which may require directly seeking advice from traders and commercial advisor.
-Maintain a complete electronic and/or paper deal record incorporating contracts documents and amendments.
-Ability to recommend modification and improvements to the control and financial security framework would be ideal.
-Convergence of Gas Transportation Agreement with Shippers & Transporters
-Developing Cooperation Agreements with State Govt for development of areas of mutual interests, HOAs / MoUs with Industrial sector.
-Providing base paper to Investment Committee of the Company which require a wider coverage of aspects related to the gas value chain, from source to market.
-Continued to look for ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness of contracting processes/policies for smooth administration of GTA/GSA.

Major Achievements
-Tying up of Gas Transportation Agreement with Reliance Industries Ltd. For East West P/L(proposed) and GAIL's trunk p/l) valued around Rs. 800 crore
-Gas Supply Agreements with Power & Fertilizer customers along HVJ P/L (a major trunk pipeline of GAIL)
-One of the key organiser in successfully conducting Asia Gas Partnership Summit (AGPS) in the year 2005 and 2006 (AGPS is Asia's niche International Conference in the growth of a Gas Economy, being organized by GAIL)
Accelerated promotion was given in the year 2005 (normal period is four years)

Major Responsibilities: From June,2000 to March'2004 as Dy Manager at GAIL (India) Limited, Delhi
-Tying up of with Industrial customer for supply of R-LNG
-Developing & implementations distribution gas supply action plan along major trunk pipelines.
-Developing Marketing Plan for R-LNG, sector wise, region wise
-Developing Policy Notes on operation of Gas Supply Contracts.
-Preparing legal briefs / background paper to various writ petitions filed by customers in the matter before Hon'ble Supreme Court.
Major Responsibilities: From March, 98 to May'2000 as Sr. Officer at GAIL (India) Limited, Ahmedabad
In charge Gas marketing of North Gujarat Natural Gas customers and Liquid Hydrocarbons independently handled 45-50- North Gujarat Natural Gas Customers and activities related to administration of Gas Supply Contracts.
