One Volcano natural gas fired "D" type water tube boiler, capable of producing 75 000 lbs./hr of 500 psi steam with 100 degrees of superheat.

Electrical
Two 1500 KW Brown Boveri generators at 0.8 lagging P.F., 4160 volt, 3 phase and 60 hertz. Drivers are Superior 2120 HP continuous-duty natural gas engines operating at 720 RPM.

Two 3000 KW generators at 0.8 P.F., 4160 volt, 3 phase and 60 hertz. Drivers are U.S. turbine jet engines supplying 6000 HP at 14 900 RPM.

One 1500 KW generator at 0.8 P.F., 4160 volt, 3 phase and 60 hertz. Driver is an Elliot single stage impulse turbine.

A water treatment system using multi-media pressure filters, weak acid cations, decarbonator and sodium zeolite softener in combination with a reverse osmosis unit. Produces 100 gal/min.

Three Atlas Copco rotary screw compressors discharging into a compressed air system at 652 SCFM with a discharge pressure of 125 psi.

Thermal dearators and feedwater heaters, cooling medium systems, heating medium systems, and lab equipment for performing boiler water tests.

MCRC modified claus sulphur recovery trains:

Centrifugal air blowers
Three are capable of delivering 26 000 SCFM of air to two sulphur plant reaction furnaces. Blowers are driven by single stage impulse turbines.

Two are capable of delivering 43 000 SCFM of air to one sulphur plant reaction furnace. Blowers driven are by a 3 stage reaction turbine.

Reaction Furnaces
Two claus reaction furnaces capable of processing 30 mmscfd of acid gas containing 55 % H2S and 35 % CO2.
One claus reaction furnace capable of processing 60 mmscfd of acid gas containing 55 % H2S and 35 % CO2.

Waste Heat Boilers
One horizontal-return fire-tube boiler capable of producing 200 000 lbs./hr of 500 psi steam.
Two horizontal-return fire-tube boiler capable of producing 100 000 lbs./hr of 500 psi steam.
Each boiler has a separately fire radiant/convection combination super heater designed to supply 100 degrees of superheat.

Modified claus sulphur recovery plants using a straight-through process. The last 3 converters perform tail gas cleanup by rotating between regeneration, dew point, and sub-dew point.
The design recovery is 2000 Lts./d at 99.2 % efficiency.

There are 15 sulphur condensers, 6 produce 70 psi steam, and 9 use glycol as a cooling medium.

Two tail gas incinerators able to incinerate design tail gas volumes of 442 mmscfd combined from all 3 sulphur plants.

Sulfinol gas sweetening process:

Three sulfinol process trains capable of processing 600 mmscfd of inlet gas at 10.7% H2S to produce 430 mmscfd residue dry sweet methane gas using the following:

- Centrifugal inlet separators
- High pressure sulfinol contactors
- Water wash towers
- T.E.G. dehydration systems
- Flash tanks
- Plate frame heat exchangers
