* Supervise preparation of annual and mid year exploration report o Prepare financial reports, variance justification and cost estimates.

* Supervise and coordinate actions between various exploration departments (reservoir and drilling departments) aiming to get approvals for special petroleum operations (Gas flaring permit, permanent & temporary well abandonment approval, well reentry approval, oil and/or gas discovery statements) from the Algerian petroleum domain authority.

* Assist SONATRACH foreign partners in exploration projects regarding various contractual issues

* Participate as a member in financial committees of exploration projects:

Participate in establishing tendering procedure for exploration project

Verify petroleum costs of the operator and their conformity as per petroleum contract and hydrocarbon law as well.

Verify and recommend approval to the management committee of operator's annual exploration budget as well as its revision during calendar year.

Participate in the evaluation of bids related to exploration project

Coordinate auditing of operator's yearly expenses

Participate in the termination procedure of petroleum contracts

* Participate as a committee secretary in Management Committees of exploration projects:

Prepare management committee meetings as per scheduled agenda

Coordinate information flow between committee members

Responsible for editing committee minutes and resolutions
