JOB DESCRIPTION
Oil and gas Gathering Stations (DCS):
Operation & control of Wells, Oil Manifolds, Gas manifolds, Surge Tanks, Separators (Two/Three Phase), Test Separators, Dehydration Tanks, Water disposal Pumps, Crude Transfer Pumps, Chemical injection, Gas/Oil line pigging operations, Well Testing & Daniel orifice plate changing, etc. Glycol Contactors, Glycol Regeneration unit, Routine sampling of oil, gas, Glycol, Condensate. Isolation & De-Isolation of equipments. Gas testing, trouble shooting and Reporting.
Central Production Facility and Tank Farm:
Receiving crude from different Gathering Stations, Dehydration unit, Desalination Tank, Produced Water Tank, Skimmer Tank, Storage Tank Operation, Emulsion Treatment by Electrostatic Heater-Treater, Demulsifier injection pumps, injection rate Calculations Desalting crude through electric desalters, Crude transfer pump LACT unit, PIG launching & receiving, Preparation of production reports, DCS and SCADA Operations.
Control Panel Operation:
Conversant in handling of all types control panels, Central control panel, Local control panels, Pneumatic control panels, valve mounted control panels, Various types of valves PCV,LCV,FCV,TCV, Hydraulic valves & Hydraulic units, fisher controllers, Gas detectors, U.V. detectors, Foxboro and Honeywell instrument panels and DCS systems.
Crude Stabilization Unit (CSU):
Three phase horizontal separators. Designed to remove light hydrocarbons and water from the incoming well fluid from oil wells and to produce stabilized crude oil. Equipments: High pressure separator, Medium pressure separator, Low pressure separator, Zero pressure vessel.
Heater Treater & Pre-Heaters:
To separate deeply associated water particles in the crude oil by heating. Heater treater is a horizontal compartmental vessel which uses vessel gas as a fuel gas.
Off Gas Compressors (OGC):
This unit is designed to compress low pressure gas from the crude stabilization unit L.P. separator. Compressor type: 3 stage centrifugal compressor. Demag ¡V Germany.
Gas Dehydration Unit:
Maintain the level and pressure of the Contactor, Coalescer, Separator & Flash tank-Maintain the re-boiler temperature ¡V operation of Glycol circulation pump ¡V HP separator and OFF-Gas compressor together feeds gas to Dehydration unit ¡V Operation of re-boilers Glycol Contactor, Lean & Rich Glycol heat exchanger, Flash & Surge tanks operation and reflux condenser, Stripping Gas flow rate. Chemical injection such as Demulsifier, Methanol, Corrosion Inhibitor, scale Inhibitor.
Gas Chilling Unit (Propane):
Operations of propane Compressor, propane Chiller, Gas-Gas Exchangers, Propane Accumulator, Propane Economiser, Propane Coolers, Low Temp.Separator, Hot Gas Utiliser, Joule's Thompson Valve Operation, Methanol Injection & Calculation, Flash Separators, NGL Unit, NGL storage Tank.
Condensate Fractionation Unit (LPG recovery unit):
This unit produces 165TPD LPG & 52.7 TPD natural gasoline (NGL) by processing total 302 TPD consisting of condensate receiving system. Surge drum, Filtration, light end fractionation, LPG column, residue gas compressor, Expander compressor, H2S wash tower, lean gas compressor, feed gas chiller, dryer.
Water treatment and water Injection Plant (DCS):
Operation and Control of Still well, Lift pumps, Hydro cyclones, Pre strainers, Coarse strainers. Maintaining efficiency of Dual media and Multi media filters, Sand filters, Filters backwash sequence, Filtered water storage tank(75000 bbls), Feed pump, Extract pump.Deaerator towers where removal of oxygen to 5 ppb by 1). Mechanical method using Vacuum pumps which consist of two stages. Where first stage vacuum is less than 50mmHg and second stage vacuum pressure is less than 20mmHg which is achieved by Ejector. 2) Chemical method using chemical oxygen scavenger at 10ppm, injected in carrier water line and distributed over cross-section of the vessel by header and laterals type distributors.Water injection at 3000 PSI by high pressure multistage centrifugal WEIR pumps(ten stages) 660m3/hr, driven by GEC ALSTHOM motor at 3.5 MW. Gas engine driven Reciprocating plunger multistage pumps(Wilson Snyder and Ingersolrand pumps). Well head operations like collecting well data, Orifice, choke changing etc.. Plant capacity is around 500000 bbls/day.
Tank Farm:
Ullaging, sampling, temperature measurement, line up the system for loading or discharging, line up for internal cargo transfer, cleaning the shore tanks from dirty to clean. Refinery feeding tanks & receiving products from refinery. Visual inspection for any line up and after starting the operation for may be leakages. Operation of cargo transfer pumps. Handing cargo - crude, naphtha, gas oil, fuel oil, monitor the pump initial operation for seal leaks, bearing temperature, lub oil level. Operation of caterpillar diesel generator's. Capacity I MW. Handling diesel engine fire pumps. Gas oil truck filing station operation. Handling WEMCO unit. Handling foam pumps and fire systems. House keeping in tank farm area.
Off-Shore Production Platforms:
Well experienced in offshore, well head & production Platforms, Well completion, Start-up and Shutdown procedures, Control Room Operations, Emergency Procedures, Water injections, Gas Compression, Oil Shipment, Chemical Injection- handling multi stage Shipping pumps- Gas Compressors, three phase Separators, Well testing, Flow Choke adjustments, Daniel orifice plate changing in live line, K.O drum, Closed and Open drain vessels ¡V Oil and Water injection Manifolds- 24" Pig receiving & Launching operations in Oil, Gas & water inj. Well head Operation:
Well opening & Closing Operations, well Testing flow flushing jobs, PIG launching & receiving inspection of pipelines for leakage and puncture. Isolation & hand over wells services for perforation, Tubing clearance, SSV & SSSV operations, Well head Panel (Baker)Operations, Flow line Choke changing, Safety valve Testing, Master valves, Annulus Valve, wing Valve and Crown Valve Operation.
Work over & Well completion:
Installation of different types of X-Mas Trees namely Breda, Cameron, FMC, IKS-NKM, BHEL, Vetco Grey etc including injection of Plastic Packing, running control line for Single and Dual completion, function and pressure testing of X-Mas Tree and SCSSV, conversant with Hydraulic Shutdown Panels and Single Well Control Panels, using in Production and well completion/Work over. Installation and removal of BPV and DCV under pressure. Preparation and pressure testing of Well Completion sub-assemblies as per program of Well Services. Well conversant with Halliburton ¡V OTIS, Baker and Camco Down hole equipment's viz. Expansion Joint, retrievable Hydraulic set Single and Dual Packers, Permanent Packer Seal Assembly, Tubing Retrievable SCSSV, Retrievable SCSSV, Landing Nipple type X, XN, F, R, Safety Valve Nipple type RQ, S, BA, Flow Coupling Gas Lift Single and Dual pocket Mandrel, Tubing Hanger, Swivel Sub, Blast Joint, Glass Disc sub various type Wire Line Re-entry guide and Side Slide Door. Production / Process Operations in Desert Based Field:
Operation of Natural Flow Wells, ESP (REDA) Wells & Gas Lift Wells, Collecting Production Data ¡V Tank Gauge, Meter Reading, Pump Rate, Gas Discharge PSI, Chart Reading, Heater Temperature and Number of compressor running & suction pressure reading. Daily Checking Liquid Recovery Units ¡V High & Low Pressure Sphere. Handling of Chemical Pumps ¡V Methanol / Wax Inhibitor / Water Pumps in Well Heads. Daily draining of Gas Lift Line Accumulators and Gas Lift Loop Line Accumulators and maintain the Gas Lift Gas rate. Operation & control of Wells Oil Manifolds, Separators (Three Phase), Test Separators, Dehydration Tanks, Water disposal Pumps, Crude Transfer Pumps, Chemical injection, Gas/Oil line pigging operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
„« Make regular checks of well heads, Separator, Instrument Air Kit and all measuring units to ensure that they are functioning properly as per the standard operating procedures.
„« Report all instrument and equipment defects and leaks immediately to my senior engineer and take necessary action.
„« To take reading from the Separator, well head, Gas injection line, Main line and water injection line.
„« In well testing each and every hour a variety of readings such as oil and gas flow, temperature and pressure and record unusual occurrence then reporting at my senior engineer.
„« Start, check stop diesel generator and pumps according to the instructions.
„« Open or close the water injection destruction and gas lift manifolds on the satellite which process platform to the well head platform.
„« Assist in isolating ¡V draining, Purging and handling over equipments for maintenance on inspection and check the equipments for correct operating when the maintenance job is completed.
„« Make the routine weekly run test of equipments like emergency diesel generator, diesel and electrical fire pumps.
„« With the guidance of senior engineer, Launching pigs into pipe line 8 and receiving pigs from pipe lines and check it for damages.
„« Unload chemicals into tanks for injection start and adjust the flow rate of chemical injections pumps as required.
„« Check the water, oil interface level in Sump Tanks and operate their pumps locally when they required.
„« Collect oil, Gas and Water Samples.
„« Initiate and lead fire fighting or other emergency action in my area until it is taken over by a higher authority.
„« Maintain good house keeping and ensure the platform is kept clean and tidy.
