December 2006 – Present [Angola]: Deputed as NDT Inspector for Sonangol PP at their offshore facilities in Block 2 by Oceaneering Intl. Duties included providing daily work direction and administrative support for all NDT duties and associated activities for the team on offshore [Lombo E, Bagre, Essungo] platforms and their satellites as well as onshore locations [Soyo,Quinfequena] within Block 2. Preparation of JSA's for work scheduled. Preparing line diagrams [isometrics] of pipe work. General NDT for routine maintenance, repairs and modifications on drillpipes, casings, wellheads, jackets as well as corrosion monitoring using Ultrasonic, Radiographic and other techniques. Review of Radiographs with accept/reject authority. Maintaining and improving HSE standards and monitoring, Maintaining log of Isotope and Chemical movements /disposal, by air and sea transportation. Ensuring compliance with Statutory Regulations utilizing good industry and workmanship practices.

July 2006 – November 2006 [Angola]: Deputed as NDT Inspector for CABGOC/ ChevronTexaco at their facilities in Malongo, Angola by Oceaneering Intl. Duties included scheduling of work for the team besides MP Inspection, Dye Pen Inspection, Radiography, Soil Inspection, Corrosion Monitoring. NDT of Plant modifications and plant expansion projects at their onshore and offshore facilities on drillpipes, wellheads, jackets and FPSO's besides production platforms and gathering stations like BBLT, BOMBOCO, GS NOVEMBER.GS ALPHA etc. and construction and maintenance barges like Pride Alligator, Constructide and Rig SEDEX 701as well as the Trident 14.NDT done for fabrication companies like Algoa, Petromar and CBI.Review of radiographs with accept reject authority also involved in Isotope handling procedures for transportation offshore by sea and air.

May 1994 – June 2006 [UAE]: Deputed as NDT Technician to ADGAS thru Solus Emirates [Oceaneering-OIS]. Duties included DP Inspection, MPI Inspection, Radiography, Eddy Current, Thermography and Hydroprobe Inspection of LNG Plant equipment and accessories. Also done Corrosion Mapping and Monitoring of all pipe work and equipment, using latest techniques including ultrasonics, TOfd, Profile radiography and Interpretation/Recommendations and assessment of line integrity. Involved in weld inspection of new pipeline and structural fabrications and modifications. NDT duties carried out during shutdowns and involved in refurbishment and expansion of Plant equipment. Scheduling and distribution of the work with other Techs. In compliance with the relevant PTW and HSE systems Also in charge of arranging and organizing travel movements of other NDT personnel and equipment including keeping records of isotope movements/changeovers, TLD's, maintaining records of calibration of equipment.

April 1991 to May 1994 [UAE]: Deputed to ADGAS thru Euro Mechanical & Electrical Contractors as NDT Technician. Duties included DP Inspection, MPI Inspection, Radiography, Eddy Current, Thermography, Hydroprobe Inspection of LNG Plant equipment and accessories. Also done Corrosion Monitoring/CUI [profile radiography]. Also carried all NDT inspection duties during shutdowns.

Oct. 1989 to April 1991 [UAE]: Euro Mechanical & Electrical Contractor Seconded to ADGAS Duties included all Machine Shop jobs including machining and inspection of refurbished plant equipment like valves, flanges, steam traps and other custom made parts to fit various plant equipment.

Nov. 1987 to Dec. 1988 [India]: Worked with Yazad Fabricators in the Machine Shop. Jobs included Machining and Inspection of Pipeworks and other equipment like steam traps, valves, flanges, and thermo couples to suit required configuration of client companies like Thermax and J.N. Marshall.
