Working in ENOC Processing Co. LLC, Dubai as DCS Operator.
EPCL is designed to Process 120000 BPSD of raw condensate in to various distilled products especially to maximize Jet fuel production. Now EPCL is going for new projects of CCR and Naphtha Hydro treator. Total Plant is operated and controlled by YOKOGAVA CENTUM DCS.
Units and equipment handled: DCS and field operations of Condensate Distillation Unit,LPG merox, Naphtha merox, Kerosene merox, Diesel merox, Amine Treating Unit, SRU and sour water striper unit.
Fired Heaters, various types of pumps, compressors,Fractionation towers, absorbers, regenerators, various types of heat exchangers, oil mist lubrication system.
Responsibilities held
* Reporting to Refinery shift superintendent and coordinating him in shift activities, following up with maintenance for planned and unplanned maintenance jobs.
* Following unit regulation sheet for feed change over, R/D tank change over, production target and make necessary adjustments in unit parameters and advise filed operators for meeting requirement.
* Monitoring and recording of all parameters and equipment condition.
* Checking and monitoring of feed and products to ensure consistency with established specs and taking corrective actions to meet the spec.
* Plant startup, shutdown and trouble shooting.
* Safety of the plant, Handling the unit safely during emergencies.
* Clearance of equipment for handing over for maintenance by following work permit system.
* Ensuring proper functioning of ESD and fire protection systems and making job cards if required.
* Initiating and ensuring that overrides to the system are approved and work permits issued, and disabling the same upon completion of the job.
* Understanding the EHS policy, procedures, regulations and objectives and ensure that these are effectively implemented.
* Attending safety meetings, trainings.

Worked in Shuaiba Refinery, Kuwait National Petroleum Co. Kuwait as field operator.
KNPC is the one of the largest oil complexes in the world, having three refineries with total refining capacity of 835000 barrels per day. Shuaiba refinery is the first Hydrogen based refinery in the world with refining capacity of 195000 barrels per day.
Units and equipment handled: Hydrogen Unit is consisting of 3 trains with each capacity of 74 MMSCFD. Technology was supplied by M/s Foster wheeler Energy Corp. USA. Each train consists of Hydro treating and desulphurization section, steam reforming section, shift conversion, CO2 removal and methanation.
Fired Heaters, various types of pumps(turbine driven, centrifugal, reciprocating pumps),centrifugal compressors, Fractionation towers, absorbers, regenerators, various types of heat exchangers, Vacuum distillation towers.
Responsibilities held
* Monitoring of all parameters and equipment condition.
* Plant startup, shutdown and trouble shooting.
* Safety of the plant, Handling the unit safely during emergencies.

Worked as Shift Engineer, and Senior Engineer in M/s. Asian Peroxides Ltd., Sullurpet, AP, India.
M/s. APL is the largest producer and exporter of hydrogen peroxide in India with ISO 9002.APL is Having Hydrogen plant (Catalytic steam reforming of Naphtha) and Hydrogen Peroxide plants. Total plant is operated through Distributed control system (Tata honey well TDC 3000).
Units and equipment handled: Hydrogen unit, Hydrogen Peroxide unit, distillation of peroxide, DM water system, steam generation and condensate recovery, Biler, instrument air and cooling water system, Effluent treatment Plant.
Multi stage centrifugal compressors, High Speed and high pressure centrifugal pumps (Sundstrand) YORK chillers, Westfalia centrifuges. Various types of heat exchangers, fired heaters, Pressure swing adsorption system, extractors, DCS (Tata Honeywell TDC-3000 series).vacuum distillation unit, cooling towers and boilers.
Responsibilities held
* Acted as Production in charge for Hydrogen generation unit, hydrogen peroxide unit and utilities.
* Responsible for Plant safety and manpower management.
* Monthly production plan and annual shutdown plan.
* Preparation of department budget with particular reference to non routine operating capital budget.
