Lead Mechanical & Process Commissioning Engineer on £150 Million Europe-UK Gas Compression Plant. Project increasing the UK import capacity of the Interconnector from 8.5 bcm/y to 16.5 bcm/y. Second phase increasing from 16.5 bcm/y to 23 bcm/y.

Commissioning of Rolls Royce compressors powered by 35 MW Siemens electric motor drives and associated auxiliary systems and gas cooling process. Surge mapping and performance testing of compressors prior to operational handover.

Yokogawa, Silvertech and Transmitton control systems (Fire & Gas, ESD, HIPS, SCS & SCADA)

Duties include management of construction completion; punch listing, P& ID verification, management of vendors and contractors for commissioning of all mechanical and process systems.

Ensuring completion of AIB-Vincotte inspection and other regulatory bodies certification to ensure compliance with Belgian Royal Decree standards and Euro Normative standards.
