Key duties and responsibilities:

Major:

* In the contract section, involves from the beginning of the bidding process up to final submission of the tender document. Upon received the Invitation To Bid (ITB) document from the client, review, understand and analyse the requirement from ITB, contract terms & conditions (TC) and scope of work. The contract TC will be sent to the company's Group Legal Advisor (GLA) for comment. GLA comments will be reviewed and evaluated based on the scope of work required. Any variation, disputes or potential impact of commercial or technical such as risk, liability, insurance, tax, terms of payment, work schedule etc will be highlighted in the proposal package or Technical Clarification and wait for client's response.

* If required, being part of participant in commercial negotiation of contract review meeting with clients. Being the contact person where clients and sub-contractors can refer to when assistance is needed.

* Review a draft contract sent by client and initial every page of final contract document before finalization.

* Assisting Management Committee team preparing and monitoring good relationship with clients, JV partners through effective communication and relationship by developing efficient contract management system, correspondence, feed back and so on. The activities are compile and maintain records of all contractual document including Contracts, MOU, Service Agreement and Shareholder Agreement, monitoring the expiry of contracts, Performance Guarantee/Parental Guarantee and Bank Guarantee, assisting tender committee in preparation of proposal (if required), Board and Exco Paper for new project or bid, maintaining and updating general commercial database and ensure that all activities of project team are in compliance with client's standard codes and terms and conditions.

Other Task:

* Being the focal point and coordinator for all works relating to registration of new application and renewal of license with Petronas, Board Of Engineer Malaysia (BEM), Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM), Construction Industry Development Berhad (CIDB), etc.
* Maintain database of client, contractor, subcontractor and initiate update of company profiles and brochures when required.
* Up-dating company's web site, in-charged in providing company's advertisement with Oil & Gas Magazines (Resource Magazine, Berita Harian Publishing, IEM Directory,Upstream etc)
* Coordinate company's exhibitions locally and internationally e.g. Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Exhibition (OGA2003, OGA 2007 & OGA 2005), Career Fair (UTM, UKM, UM, UTP), Oil & Gas Show, Dubai(OGS 2003 & OGS 2005).
* Attend meeting on behalf of commercial department including business meeting, proposal meeting. Meeting with clients etc if required.
* Preparing Commercial & Development slide presentation for Management Committee Meeting in monthly basis. E.g. up-dating status of new proposals, bid under evaluation, awarded and lost bids of design engineering and EPCC projects, pre-qualification, department development, active contracts, board papers, list of potential projects and KPI.
* Provide secretarial assistance in preparing proposal during high workload.
