ADDITIONAL DATA
My offshore experience includes (as a rig supervisor and as a mud-engineer) rig-up, rig-down, drilling and completion on platform rigs, submersible rigs, jackup rigs, semi-submersibles, drill ships, and barge rigs in water depths to 2475'. My land experience (as a mud engineer, directional supervisor, drilling supervisor, completion supervisor - sand fracs, N2 foam fracs, slick water fracs, cavitation, etc., and drilling supervisor) in hard rock, on truck-mounted rigs, pulling units, skid-based mounted rigs with stiff legged and jack-knife derricks with mud, air and gas drilling mediums. I have worked from N. Dakota to the West Coast (offshore) and down to the Gulf of Mexico and in Venezuela, S.A. I have also worked in the HPHT areas of South Texas, Anticline area in Wyoming and some other areas. I have horizontal experience in WY, N. Dakota, and the Ark-La-Tx.
I have worked on the development of oilfield reporting and database software. I am experienced in the use of both Well View and Dims/Wims reporting software and have training in Open Well software. I am IADC / WellCap Sub-sea certified in Well Control in Drilling, Completion and Well Servicing for Supervisors. I helped develop and taught a Well Control School that was taught at San Juan College /Regional Energy Training Center in Farmington, New Mexico. I was a team member of a curriculum development group that is working to receive IADC/WellCap certification for a new well control manual and course that is being taught at the RETC. I also have experience in managing small businesses through my own company and I have done management work in other service related businesses owned by others.
I have been involved in this industry for nearly 29 years now and still can't seem to get enough of it. I will say however that I do enjoy the time I can get with my wife (of nearly 30 years) and that we are 'empty nesters' now.
