Project Manager/Administrator (Contractor) 2005/2008
Management and administration of reclamation and heavy industrial construction projects at the Climax Mine, located above elevation 11,000 feet. As part of an integrated leadership team, duties include, but are not limited to, strategic planning and cost control, project and site safety, contractor qualification and selection, capital equipment procurement, contract administration and record keeping.
ASI RCC, Inc.
Human Resources Director 2000/2005
Managed resources for implementation of the first H.R. Department at this mid-sized heavy civil construction company, with projects in the lower 48 states and abroad. Primary duties included labor relations and employee benefits evaluation and procurement, development of construction leadership teams, an employee evaluation system, wage & salary guidelines, training programs and overall maintenance of a union free environment.
Construction Project Support 2000
Responsible for project coordination of the Berthoud Pass Highway Modernization Project. Duties included cost and material tracking, change order management, purchasing, sub-contracts and record keeping.
Climax Molybdenum Company
Capital Project Support 1998/2000
Deployed resources to support critical path capital projects, Henderson Mine / Mill. Managed related salvage projects. Participated on Corporate Team providing evaluation and recommendation of service providers for Cyprus Amax, central and southwestern U.S.
Contract Administration 1996/98
Performed contract administration for Colorado Operations at four sites; implemented a series of negotiated alliance agreements for outsourced services to improve schedule / cost from conception to completion of projects.
Supply Chain Management 1995/96
Provided procurement and inventory control team leadership at the Climax Mine; negotiated and implemented the first on site consignment inventory at a Climax Molybdenum Property.
Warehouse Management 1992/94
Provided surface and underground supply team leadership, Henderson Mine; introduced the first owner/supplier partnering program for the company, managed asset re-deployment and implementation of the inventory control and purchasing module of Oracle financials software.
