Increase the total capacity of the Escravos Gas Plant from 318000 Nm3/hr to 759000 Nm3/hr by installing a new gas and liquids processing train (Train 2) and upgrading the existing Train 1 facilities.
Type of Plant: GAS PLANT Facilities: Slugcatcher, MP Separator, Dehydration Units (TEG Dehydration and Mole Sieves), Turbo expander, De-ethaniser, Debutaniser, Stabilizer Column, C5+/Condensate Degassing System, Sales Gas Compressors, GTG's, Hot Oil System. Cryogenic Process configuration is the proprietary SCORE (Single Column Overhead Recycle) process licensed by Ortloff Engineers Ltd.
Provide a high level engineering experience in the successful resolution of Gas Plant operational problems; provide continuous advice/direction to contractor and management on technical inquiries on all operational issues. Write/assist in developing procedures to conduct performance test for new plant equipment upon start-up. Assist with conducting tests, gathering data and verifying results. Implement strategies to improve Commissioning and Start-Up. Provide key interface with QA inspectors like a MC, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning, and Start-up specialist. Monitors Contractor's disciplines engineers (Process Engineers and Technicians etc) to ensure that A, B and C Check sheets are accurately completed and are submitted in a timely manner to the project database administrator to meet handover dates.

Leader of pre-comm. and commissioning team. Provide leadership to the team of field operators for maintaining smooth plant operations. Type of Plant: SYNGAS. The process for the production of OXO-gas and Hydrogen is based on Steam and CO2 reforming of natural gas. Consists of the following operation: desulphurization (Comox Catalyst Extrudates), pre-reforming and steam reforming, Heat Recovery, CO2 Removal-Amine System (MDEA) BASF Technology, Cryogenic Separation into H2, Raw OXO-gas and CO in COLD BOX (Air Liquid license), compression of the products and steam generation. For COLD BOX Unit, water and CO2 removal made in fixed bed absorbers-alumina and molecular sieves. Also contains a Washing Column with CH4, Stripping Column, CO/CH4 Separation Column and a Turbo expander. Compressors actuated by Steam Turbine-Ebara.
System used in CCR-Emerson.
Commissioning and Start-up activities like: blowing, flushing the lines, catalyst loading, loop-checks, test runs for rotating equipments (pumps and compressors). Successfully hand-over to the client.

Gases comprimation made with compressors Nuovo Pignone and one Booster Gas Lift Compressor (a compressor in two stages actuated by a Gas Turbine).
System used in CCR-Yokogawa Centum 3000, witch consisted on DCS, Fire and Gas System, ESD and PSD Diagrams.
Transferred from JGC to Organization Ourhoud following successful handover of the project to operate the 300,000B/D Crude Separation Plant. Technical writer (SOP, EOP ). OJT (On Job Training) with Algerian board operators.
